Haha, surprisingly enough I kept it all down! Did feel like chundering everywah at one point but it held off. The only effect was having no memory of leaving the house and of getting back!

Cheers for the Birthday messages. You'll all be pleased to know I'm nursing a monster hangover today..
  4. Don't know why, but can see a 1-0 or maybe even 2-0 win here. Would just top off the perfect weekend for me, and the Arsenal fan upstairs would never live it down! Us to score relatively early, Arsenal to do what they do best and have hundreds of chances but not put any away, and then Nile Ranger to break through in the final minutes when they're really going for it and score a second. Okay, not really going to happen, but I can still dream!

Urrrr as in sniff? Not entirely sure I know, and not entirely sure why I picked it as a name to use!
  8. Messi does get some shit off some of the Argentina fans doesn't he? On another point, can you imagine Rooney on twitter? I couldn't think of anything less entertaining.
  9. Might as well give the youngsters a taste of what they should expect if they want to play at the top level. Pointless risking anyone who could have an impact at the weekend.
  10. I would like to think that attitudes have come on just a little bit since then. Even though personal experience doesn't necessarily suggest it has, I still think homosexuality is more widely accepted now than it has been in the past.
  11. I'm sure it will get better eventually, but only because younger generations are slowly becoming more and more accepting. But with such a high percentage of fans saying homophobia has no place in Football then why don't we hear more about it? Wasn't it Max Clifford who said that he had had a few footballers approaching him about what they should do about being open with their sexuality? And I believe he told them all to stay firmly in the closet... If statistics are anything to go by then there must be gay footballers out there. It would probably take only one Premiership footballer to come out to actually kick start things. Of course he would recieve some stick for it from a select group of fans, but in the wider world a gay footballer would do massive amounts for tackling homophobia in day to day life. Like I say, it will get better, but some people are just so set in their ways (for no real reason) that it is bound to be a tough journey.
  12. T'mother had a similar problem with her old Laguna. Think all you can do is call up your garage and get them out to sort it.
  13. Got to remember that Simpson hasn't played for a long while, though.
  14. I really don't know what anyone sees in Rooney at the minute. I can't remember the last time I saw him play well, and I honestly think he has completely fallen off the band wagon. He needs to reinvent himself and start afresh abroad. For the sake of England, I would quite like to see him head over to Madrid and work with Mourinho week in week out.
  15. If you're anything like me, then never again will you experience the sheer joy that came with playing Vietcong online. An absolutely brilliant came. That and COD2 are by far my favourite games for the PC.
  16. Don't worry lads, we'll still win this one. /blindoptimism
  17. Did you watch it? Who would you have put through? She had a fucking black co-judge (or whatever they call it), was married to a black bloke (and gets moist whenever a good looking black bloke turns up for audition) and she was Burke's judge when she won a few years back. For these two knobheads to start playing the race card about X Factor is mental and hilarious. I wouldn't have put that Katie bird through cos she was a massive dickhead, but I can see putting that quirky lass who looks like she's 16 going on 50-year-old-pub-landlady through. She did put a black lass through an'all btw. I watched it (under duress ). Anyway, what's the point in the boot camp if you just choose the quirky ones regardless of how shit their performances were? That one who was a member of a Supremes tribute act was cute as a button too and had a good chance of winning it imo. Suspect Cheryl has gone back to stealing lollipops after her split from Cole like. I think she was right to put through who she did. There is a bigger niche in the market that Katy/Cher could fill that any of the others couldn't. There are a ton of black female singers with powerful voices out there nowadays, and it would be difficult for them to release something original (not that X Factor particularly releases anything original anyway). And besides, the one shock (Gamu not going through) will be void when it is revealed that she will in fact be on the live shows anyway as part of a 'wildcard' feature. Did the producers tell Cheryl to not put her through? Who knows, but it is all a giant set up in the pre-live shows.
  18. An American who is shit with Geography? Haven't heard of that one before...
  19. Just seen the 'penalty' on MOTD. Not only was it outside the box, but he got the bloody ball. Absolute disgrace.
  20. I love Tiote even more now that he just looked like he was about to smack De Jong.
