  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivica_Dragutinovi%C4%87 look at the club info on the right hand side they know something we dont?
  2. Absolutely but I dont think even with the best will in the world they are going to be able to turn all the players round in a short time, possibly by christmas they maybe on the road to being where BS wants them, the problem is, any injuries is going to dent the timescale hes working to and with our paper thin squad I simply cant see them having the team on an intensive fitness regime
  3. Anyone have any stats? I'm sure our horrific injury record started with FFS new training ground
  4. I did have a *snigger* at that myself (am I allowed to say that? or do I have to say *safroamerican*)
  5. Having said that, I do think the season after (assuming that there isn't a knee jerk reaction and we sack Big Sam) could be a good one when all the back room staff and his sports injury/science stuff is implemented and the players fitness levels are elevated to something slightly higher than your average Big market going, pie munching cretin
  6. Nope another season of mid table mediocrity ending in a relegation fight with our paper thin squad suffering further injuries with academy players playing the final quarter of the season
  7. 10 players out before the season has even started
  8. personally I reckon we gonna see alot of this Given Solano - Taylor - Roze - Geremi Milner - Smith - Barton - Zog Viduka - Owen
  9. The quoted reason is that he wants to be nearer his kids. But his sister is up on a coke dealing charge. the sweet sweet irony
  10. Barton, Silvestre is shite! Quoted for the truth
  11. fair play like the bit about everything being sorted for his wife, lets the player concentrate on his football, excellent stuff Aye, and this is an assumption, but I bet that that's exactly the sort of stuff that wasn't being looked after for foreign players in the past. From what Sam has said in the past I would call it more an educated guess than an assumption. My thoughts exactly, good things from the toon

  13. certainly his attitude is good, I wouldnt mind one or two others being of the same ilke, I dont hate any of the players for the toon, but every single one of them will be cussed at some stage in the season when they do something wrong, but thats part and parcel of a fans frustration coming out
  14. spot on. it's just a shame he's always crocked. I'm convinced I read somewhere that the same guy who worked on michael ownes hamstring is the same guy who worked on Dyers, if so then fingers crossed we wont see him breaking down this season (unless he runs into another pole)
  15. 1's each - ameobi 2-1 - missed scorer, radio keeps cutting out 2-2 - no wait its been disallowed 3-1 - ameobi
  16. 1's each - ameobi 2-1 - missed scorer, radio keeps cutting out 2-2 - no wait its been disallowed
  17. 1's each - ameobi 2-1 - missed scorer, radio keeps cutting out
  18. I like the lad, and he does work hard for the team, but he is slow like, still I'm glad he will be spending a few more years wearing the black and white
  19. Maybe we should see what Viana and Robert are up to too? Well Viana has gone back to being a useful player so what the common point here?
  20. I do rate emre to be honest, I just get annoyed at our ability to take a good player from aboard and utterly destroy them. One of the things that had me excited about big sam coming in is his proben track record of being able to take a foreign player and make him perform by the way hes treated off the pitch If they can sort out Emre and Luque then that should be 2 players who can see a resurgence in their playing careers
  21. You heard it here first folks
  22. Allardyce already stated his absolute priority was to start getting players in to bolster the squad and that backroom staff would be sorted as and when he could. Now he has a brief chance he's lining up the people we need. And he can start pre-season putting some of his ideas and techniques into place before everyone else arrives, he will remember what he used to do at Botlon! Its great if we really are just importing all the key staff from Bolton instead of havign to advertise for all these positions, interview and then maybe end up with people who aren't as good! To be fair, the man is working like a slave
