  6. Probably, as he's a far better manager than Allardyce. Alot of people who know the square root of fuck all about football have slated Sven, personally I've always felt he was a good manager, infact I would of liked to have seen him manage us
  7. I bet you are a happy boy now then ! Aye He's captain too I could do with Malouda scoring for similar selfish reasons. what team you got? I'm in a mini league at work and I could really do with moving some players around
  8. O'neils Villa had some shite spells last year and were pretty dire against liverpool last week How long has he been in charged, how much has he spent? all of the top 4 had some shockers last season, horses for courses but I'm not getting into a wanking frenzy over this last game
  9. So £50k a week? I thought the club was trying to get a grip on massive salaries? still having said that.... ...Yes please
  10. O'Neil is a quality manager and hes building a good side down in the midlands, make no mistake this is a game we would of lost last season, so to have keep a clean sheet and to take a point from the game I'm happy. Also bear in mind that only Man City and Chelsea have started better than we have (games played) I've always maintained I would be happy with an above mid table finish (8/9th) and use that as a spring board for the next few seasons
  11. you can't tease us like that, then snatch it away at the last second, just add apparently onto the end of the sentence
  12. agreed, although both goals where his fault like That's Titus. Just pleased it isn't our Titus any more. You knows it, I was having a proper laugh about it to be honest, it felt so could to see Titus in a shirt that wasnt the toon I would piss myself if he started performing class and got into the england set-up I've just seen the last stage coach rolling out of dodge with bob hope onboard

  15. I loved it there. Probably says more about me than your mate though. I agree with Stevie here. Terrible place. I work in birmingham and truely its an utter utter shit hole
  16. I'm going to assume that Wacky is Bobby That's what I thought too. I get the impression SMO has a wank fantasy about these lasses but needs someone with a bit more imagination to pad it out a bit for him. Hence, he starts a topic on here fishing for other peoples thoughts. And your thoughts are? Come on hurry up, my dick don't much harder than this! Actually I take that back, there can't be anyone on here with a more vivid imagination than you Bottler My experience tells me if they look dirty the chances are when you get them home they dont want to do fuck all as they are worried someone is going to think they are slag its the posh bints you want, get them home and they are gagging for you to take a shit on them, filth, utter utter filth
  17. To be fair the Craig Gordon Video itself suggests he is decent. Everyone makes fuck ups: to be honest, not only did he get down from a header from 6 yards out and get a hand to it, the 2nd goal was a shot from the edge of the 6 yard box and on any other given sunday that would of been saved but it squirmed and spun and bounced out of his hands he actually looks quite good
  18. Howay man, give N'Zogbia and Nobby a look in! Ok swap out carr on the bench and replace with Nobby, but zoggy wont get a look in for the time being, I want to see how the new midfield works first, I've always been a secret admirer of Emre, when hes playing well he can be devastating but he does go missing alot to be honest, but I would love to see him turn it round this coming season, if there was a season to shine, this is it Emre seems to have the qualities to really turn it on, but I think it depends on the people around him to create space. I think you may be right, hopefully the work of Smith, Barton etc can create the time and space for him. This was my team but Viduka instead of Smith! =) Geremi Barton Emre would be wicked in that midfield trio I am quite excited for this coming season, I can see some mouth watering combos in midfield and our defence is looking better, hopefully given can stay injury free and I think we could be seeing a resurgent toon

  21. His leg for sure can be 100% and I speak from experience. Got my leg broken going into a sliding tackle in 1959, the fibula & tibula were both broken, the large bone was cleanly broken but the small one was in pieces and I spent 9 months in a thigh-high cast after having a stainless steel pin put down the middle of the large bone where the marrow is. In 18 months I was back playing again as good as new albeit I had a pin in my leg, only difference was I was a little more cautious when I went into a tackle, but I still made the tackles and was 100% on my game. Not sure about the ankle though, the ankle is an unknown factor. Sometimes an ankle injury can be a problem for the rest of your life just as a knee injury can. A broken bone however can actually become stronger where the break is because of calcium build-up around the break, not likely a bone will ever break in the same place because of the healing process, maybe above it or below it but not in the same place. Dr.Noelie. Yes but you would have had the protection of all that padding and a helmet A broken bone will come back stronger for the reasons already listed, however a dislocation will weaken the joint and the chance for repeat injury goes up (I know this as being a snowboarder I have dislocated most joints in my body) infact still injuried after dislocating my knee and ankle (and rupturing 3 ligaments in the ankle) in march - a break is much better than a dislocation to someone whos in sports
