I just think a pedant should avoid making mistakes, like spelling abbreviation wrong. And would you mind explaining why shortening three words to their initial letters isn't an acronym? 162619 You're correcting me on my English yet you start a sentance with 'And'. You also dont know the differnece between an acronym and abbreviation? Here goes dear boy Acronym An acronym is a word made up from the initial letters of a group of words. Example. REME - Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers Abbreviation An abbreviation is a shortened form of a word using letters from a group of words Example HTT Howay The Toon, HRT - Hormone Replacement Therapy Hope this Helps

Of HTTowayheoon? Did you forget to connect your brain up this morning, or are you always like this? 162582 Eh? My brain is in gear.

It's not an acronym, nerdling. 162562 Gay-lick isn't it? (Ali G - sorry couldn't resist). Speaking of acronyms, HTT is loving this Duff speculation. Perfect opportunity for an indepth strengths/weaknesses analysis. 162574 Nor is HTT and acronym That is an abreviation 162577 Ok then, speaking of non-acronyms 162579

Prefer Keane over Defoe. Dofoe is a good player but gets caught offside way too much for me.

Holy Shit!!! If this one is right and he does sign today, and we all slagged off Kris!!

Why would Duff leave the Champions for Relegation candidates?
-
Thats Newcastle for you. Like Signing Luque over a decent defender?
-
For free I would take him.
-
I would rather have Queserue, purley on the fact he has played in the EPL.
-
Because your view is obscured by the horizontal metal bars that they have running along the top of the concrete walls. Only slightly obviously, but there's something in your way when you look at the pitch. 160987 Balustrades?

Dont worry guys We shall get Michael Ricketts

RHCP - Stadium Arcadium The Zutons - Tired of Waiting Around Paul Oakenfold - Live in Space Ibiza (1999)

Didnt he goto Bristol Rovers / City?

I'm not his biggest fan either, but did you actually see him play for Man City? No end product??? 161054 OK A little harsh there. Little end product. His game againts us in the final game of the season I wasnt scared at all of him. Step overs and then *poof* we have the ball. Maybe a run in a team is all he needs? Anyway, like I say, better than Dyer.
-
SWP I just dont fancy in a Toon shirt for some reason. But like whats been said, would rather have a fit player with pace and no end product (SWP) than someone of the same thats on the Physio table all the time.
-
Good luck to him. I rate Milner and think he could do us some help this season. Missed him last year when Robert went.
-
I think that was the point. 161042 Yes and it was a shite example marra. We have seen Shola v Shearer but we havent seen what a fully fit Luque can offer the Toon. We have seen him in a Deportivo La Coruna shirt and I for one was impressed.
-
Err, no. 160884 So thats your argument then? Great stuff! 161021 If you think that Luque will come anywhere near Rob Lee in what he's given to the club, then you're a daft twat. Shearer set a good standard at No 9. Shola could be better given the chance this season? 161026 You set such a great point my friend, I wish I was so bright like you. Shola is NO WHERE near the standard as Wor Al. Never will be either. Luque on the other hand has the potential to become a good player. He has shown what he can do whilst playing for Deportivo La Coruna. Rob Lee was one of my fave players. Had a great engine, great passer and scored some great goals, always tried 100%. Luque hasnt really got going as a Newcastle player yet.
