  1. Le Tissier was unbelievable like, always seemed to score amazing goals. This one has never been bettered for me in the history of the Prem. He had no right to shoot let alone score and where the ball ended up was entirely deliberate. You see some cracking finishes week in week out but you know that half the ones that fly in the top corner could just as easily end up in row z. Everything about Le Tissier's game was intentional though. The only thing I never liked him doing (apart from scoring against us all the while), was the way he'd tee himself up for volleys a lot. Thought he looked a dick doing that. fantastic player. work rate and application were pretty average but what a player.
  2. Showed promise and moyes has brought through some very good players. Bob Latchford. Alan Ball. Burt Bacharach. On a serious note I think he'd do well for us if he can regain fitness.
  3. I would hope not. why not try ferguson. he's quick and effectively a winger, put pressure back on arsenals right side. depends on whether we see the ball of course.
  4. Luke, what do you think then? Sammy, thanks for your feedback.
  5. What's your verdict Luke then?
  6. nah. i'm about 2 stone heavier than that little cunt and all left foot. I use the word accelerating advisedly. Lumbering may be a more apt description. though at age 38 i can still do 100m in 13.5 seconds so i'm not slow slow. having said that, thats without the ball. with the ball its more like 2 weeks.
  7. sorry that should say the equivalent of 3 left. lets get back to the knee- knack please.
  8. ah that'l be it. nice one fish, only got 3 left. ho hum.
  9. simpson looks a better footballer. Perch the better athlete? concept wise thats not far off. neither are premiership top half players though.
  10. So, i was playing footy sunday and towards the end of the game executed a rather good cruyff turn, and accelerated down the wing. then pulled up 20 yards down the wing as i heard an unusual click in the back of my knee. no pain but over the last 48 hours i've got a solid (ish) lump on the back of my knee, that seems to be sort of the same size since monday. it looks like a bakers cyst ( google it), but i'm unsure. there is absolutely no pain, but it looks odd and feels rather solid! any ideas.
  11. that middlesboro side 2 years ago had some very good players. Adam Johnson was the pick of the lot. now its all SPL rejects. its a bit sad really.
  12. nowt wrong with williamson, getting better and better. I don't think Bellamy is world class, but he is the most obvious player to be able to make the difference... here. our other forwards (except lovenkrands) are fairly slow to be honest and lovenkrands has no balls. he's got 2 years in the premiership i think.
  13. aren't some of his best friends coloured?
  14. aye, i'd still smash her back doors in though. With sugar watching.
  15. was going to say Gyan and bent makes for a top half of the table strike pairing. they are very similair though.

    Carroll

reminds me of that tranny that won big brother. what is it with these model cum actresses cum musician/ dancers. she's fucking awful.
  17. too right, was a significant part of our best recent era (01-04 and helped chelsea to 2 titles.Mourinho rates him as did sir bobby. thats all i need to know.
  18. Couldn't agree less. Michael Owen was always going to be that sort of player, while Rooney's explosiveness is a key part of his game, he has enough about him to be a force when he doesn't have the pace he had when he was 22. It's usually players who are all pace who you know will vbe finished early doors, as I say Owen was a prime example. Rooney will go on at the top for 10 years, he's just in a shit run of form as everyone has in their career. Maybe, but his physique is more that of a boxer than a footballer, he'll have to be much more committed to fitness than most players and I think he lacks the mental strength of someone like Scholes to keep on top of his game. Can't think of a club that would suit him better than ManU under Ferguson and personally I think he may struggle elsewhere. Being English I'd also add I think he's over-rated - I know you will disagree though. I think it's universally accepted that the Premiership has more quality than any league in the world. He scored 25 league goals last season, a phenomenal feat, and was justifiably in the running for the balon dor and WPOTY, whether he's overrated or not those feats in themselves show that on form he is a top class footballer. The weight thing I agree he'll have tow ork hard, but has that not been his trade mark? He's 13st which for someone of 5ft8 I'd feel is almost too heavy, makes me feel better 6 inches taller and just 2 stone heavier I tell you though. Based purely on technique, La Liga is miles better. based on recent records as well, but only barca in recent seasons. technically way better than the premiership teams. madrid have too many square pegs at the moment. valencia a powder puff forward line.
  19. thats awful, btw i fully expect the fat cunt to turn up in a lonsdale romper suit by the end of the season. one of his (in house) brands. doesn't he also have a bit of umbro?
