  1. too right, was a significant part of our best recent era (01-04 and helped chelsea to 2 titles.Mourinho rates him as did sir bobby. thats all i need to know.
  2. Couldn't agree less. Michael Owen was always going to be that sort of player, while Rooney's explosiveness is a key part of his game, he has enough about him to be a force when he doesn't have the pace he had when he was 22. It's usually players who are all pace who you know will vbe finished early doors, as I say Owen was a prime example. Rooney will go on at the top for 10 years, he's just in a shit run of form as everyone has in their career. Maybe, but his physique is more that of a boxer than a footballer, he'll have to be much more committed to fitness than most players and I think he lacks the mental strength of someone like Scholes to keep on top of his game. Can't think of a club that would suit him better than ManU under Ferguson and personally I think he may struggle elsewhere. Being English I'd also add I think he's over-rated - I know you will disagree though. I think it's universally accepted that the Premiership has more quality than any league in the world. He scored 25 league goals last season, a phenomenal feat, and was justifiably in the running for the balon dor and WPOTY, whether he's overrated or not those feats in themselves show that on form he is a top class footballer. The weight thing I agree he'll have tow ork hard, but has that not been his trade mark? He's 13st which for someone of 5ft8 I'd feel is almost too heavy, makes me feel better 6 inches taller and just 2 stone heavier I tell you though. Based purely on technique, La Liga is miles better. based on recent records as well, but only barca in recent seasons. technically way better than the premiership teams. madrid have too many square pegs at the moment. valencia a powder puff forward line.
  3. thats awful, btw i fully expect the fat cunt to turn up in a lonsdale romper suit by the end of the season. one of his (in house) brands. doesn't he also have a bit of umbro?
  4. Yeah, sure. Oil is a means to an end though. I read an arguement that the US doesn't need the oil itself but that it seeks to control the supply/price of it to it's competitors. Namely Europe. paranoia....
  5. Was that the blonde bird who shagged the mackem? See I thought she should've been running in the 2:35 at Wetherby the shape of her face, she had more teeth than a crocodile, the lass Michelle was tremendous though. Heh! she did have biggish teeth. i don't have an issue with that! Not brilliant for blowjobs though. She was quite good looking but again...brummie It's got to wear you down that accent eventually I don't care what anyone says. you have a point. when you are on your vinegars and she goes "alroit skip"hmmmmn.

  7. HF, it is formulaic. but its car crash tv and for me at least that is what makes it interesting.
  8. I hasten to add, only the women. looking back they have had some absolutely stunning girls on there.... Kate from last series ( though she hasn't done herself any favours by going on that Ian Wright show). and one of the other winners Michelle.
  9. What a cock. Her teeth look like they're doing a mexican wave at the side. Wouldn't even say she's the second best looking. Interesting that people can't accept that others see attractiveness in different ways. each to their own mate. i find a few of them attractive.
  10. as for the poles, i know a few vaguely fit ones. the best eastern europeans are serbo croat or czech.
  11. there is one of the female contestants thats as fit as. full of it though.... liz locke. tidy.
  12. Jimbo, Parky, getting back on track, you both have my best wishes. hopefully the new lives you both lead are more productive than the past ones.
  13. that explains his rose tinted views of the shepherd era. only thing he can remember tbh. Just joking Leazes, your alright really. did the doc fit that new cv joint?
  14. she has odd teeth but the rest of the package ain't bad. dentistry could be sorted out and she'd be mint. lovely voice as well. just can't deal with real world bitchiness and that loud one (i forget he name). she's a right waste of oxygen. as for the one that got sacked she's got a nose that could open bottles. that is one ugly fucker. frankly though if any of these people were anywhere near your business you'd fuck them off for being full of themselves. if they did any project management for my company they'd probably end up costing me money.
  15. knowing our medical facilities are pretty average (bearing in mind its taken quite a while for some of our best players to come back and be not very good). i'm not entirely sure. if however he makes a full recovery then yes. in the 2 and a bit games i saw of him, i saw a player we've been missing for some time. a genuine flair player!
  16. this season d- nowhere near good enough.
  17. Think it was Nick Hancock who said try naming five funny scousers and you'll be onto Cilla Black by number 4 you'd have to multiply jimmy tarbuck x 5 and then you'd still have nothing....
  18. thick as pig shit. what a cunt.
  19. fingers crossed liverpool lose in every way possible. can't stand them.
  20. As you say he's 30, he's not as good as he was but still has a lot to offer. For you it's Gerrard makes the difference, for others it's Torres, for Martin Tylers monkey and the rest of the 'professional' pundits we were a one man team and when we lost Alonso, that was it. I think the best teams have always had their share of great players, decent players, and water carriers. Obviously you've got other good players. In the case of Alonso you lost an important player and Torres is class as well, although you'd probably need to go back to the season before last to see the best of him on a consistent basis (I know he's been injured a lot and has struggled to get fully fit). I just think Gerrard's probably been the most important of the lot and, without wishing to get too into cliche territory, is the one player who can really make a difference when the chips are down etc. Or to put it another way he's your most important player for me. They've missed Hyppia as well. he may well have been old and slow, but he can defend, proven by the way he played in the bundesliga over the last season or so. way better than skrtel.
