1. Are wasting hours on the net and watching TV classed as hobbies? I havent got a 'proper' hobby, i dont seem to have time for one, i suppose we go racing alot, so thats a family hobby which does take alot of time and effort. I do like to walk, I love museums, old buildings, especially cemeterys
2. from school? Shirley schools dont break for summer hols yet?
3. Travelled back to Torquay from Ipswich today, had all the windows open in the van, but didnt make much difference as it was warm air blowing at us...oh the joys of the M25 Feel totally worn out....no work till weds morning thank god!
4. I honestly wouldnt have any former Man U players. They play like theyre on garden leave anywhere else after Old Trafford. Not having AF as their boss anymore and playing with sub standard players they soon lose interest and I can understand why. I think we'd be a de-motivating experience for him tbh. 155913 or on the otherhand he could be sore and bitter at the way he's been treated at man u, giving him a burning desire to prove to AF and any other doubters, that he is still one of the best strikers in the prem.
5. so they say but to be honest, if its a deep love (normally of long standing) then you never really get over it imo, you'll always miss him......things will trigger memories off. When you think about it you've lost someone you love, someone who you're close to, you have to go through the grieving stages-just the same as if they'd died. Except in a way its worse because you know theyre still around somewhere. 155985 bloody hell woman, you're a right fucking ray of sunshine 155990 sorry back to cheerful mode
6. Been in Ipswich since Friday (bloody FRYday morelike)! its been Scorchioo all weekend up there, no rain or storms just and more Back home today and its just as hot here, i hate it...all i wanna do is get in a cool shower!

8. i didnt realise that, or what Gemmill pointed out either
9. spot on! 154550 Are you really saying you find Shearer intriguing? He was a brilliant goalscorer and I think he's probably a canny life, but he's hardly an enigma is he. 154562 noo course he's not intriguing but the fact we never really see the real person is!
10. packing and getting ready to go to Ipswich first thing tomorrow, Hubby is racing the speed weekend there. Thank god we have a TV in the van for the England game!!
11. can you blame him though? If you give too much of yourself you get picked to pieces by the media etc...so he's always been guarded and careful about what he says, giving the impression he's boring. He let his football do the talking. He was just a normal guy who wanted to play his football...he's obviously a naturally reserved person anyway who is only really himself with those he trusts and knows well. I've heard he is a right prankster who loves a good laugh. EDIT Not even going to get into the U2 argument again, we've done that before Each to their own!
12. Love that. Good taste in music too Mind, its always been obvious (to me anyway) that Shearer is soooo not like his 'media' image in real life.....he's a normal bloke and apparantely a real laugh. I've noticed now he's not a player he is relaxing more and more during his pundit role, and so we're starting to see the real person.
13. yeah saw that before work...BigAl "I take it they're Swedish?" Far better viewing than the first half! Thankfully i missed most of 2nd half but watched the penalties at work, i really cant stand Morose Mick, decent guy, bloody awful co commentator 153807 Not to mention manager. 153808 Harsh but fair
14. I dont think i could be arsed with taking it apart an all that! They're so cheap to buy

16. always wanted to see Jimmy in a toon shirt....someone photoshop one now for me!!! Though i suppose that may jinx the deal
17. Well, thats made me smile alright!! I've always liked Jimmy, I wanted him to come to us when he left Chelski tbh. He's still pretty useful though and will certainly help out whilst Owen recovers. As for Benty...YESSS please But im not so sure about him 'being eager' to follow Jimmy to Tyneside. Lets hope so!!
18. i was just about to type out a very curt reply to that, untill i saw the winky face I cheered the Aussies on every game...i think they won alot of people over actually. Oh for a decent manager like Gus!!!
19. Oh dear, is Mr Scolari a tad worried about facing us then? Seems like it FIFA couldnt rescind that card, if they did all hell would break lose Every manager would be trying it!!
20. STREUTH!!! Poor Aussies, feel sorry for them really.
21. thank gawd im on night duty tonight!!!
22. well i wasnt 'taken in' as you put it, as i never send these type of things on (and i've had lots sent me) but i cant help it, i feel doooooomed Just the same if i accidentedly walk under a ladder or open an umbrella indoors...i know its stupid and irrational but i cant help myself
