Has anyone not asked a random question on here lately
Toonraider replied to trophyshy's topic in General Chat
I asked a random question on here the other day, in the school gym thread....I wondered how long you could hang upside down before any damage was done I'm also going to ask, do men really think about sex every 7 seconds? -
Nothing really exciting. A Sat Nav for hubbys xmas pressie. Only a basic one that I hope to god is easy to use, because he will throw it out of the window if not ;) I've ordered a characiture drawing of his race car to be done, which should be cool. Various books and DVD's for my son, inc Frankie Boyle's, Richard Hammonds and Clarksons books, Russell Howards new DVD and I've got Dylan Moran's on pre-order too. His main pressie will be new wheels for his Puma or money towards his race car, as next season will be even more expensive for him to race as he's moving up to bigger tracks and will need a new Helmet and Hans device. Pricey. Other than that I've been buying lots of Xmas pressies for family and friends and I'm nearly done!

Just had a root around the internet and found some wholly disturbing/depressing images of Calvin when he's grown up. Never mind. What to watch? Anyone watching True Blood at the moment? It's shite like. True Blood is cool, man. Whatchutalkinabout?
-
That's the Badger. Canny for teens like as there's more (vampire) sex than you can shake a stick at. I'm loving Trueblood, The Twilight saga is for teens but Trueblood definitely isnt! Im going to order the books, The Southern Vampire Mysteries. Trueblood is created by Alan Ball who made Six Feet Under, and you can tell.

Anyone watch Misfits? I quite enjoyed it.

Magic box set to record the whole series and I'm looking forwards to tonight, perhaps they've moved to the watershed time to play it safer I love Top Gear but I hope this series isnt so silly It got too staged and sort of forced for me last series. The three are naturally funny together but its like once they stumbled across this fact they now try too hard to be, which started to get slightly uncomfortable to watch in the last series. By the way, I love James new show. We've had Plasticine and Mecanno, this week is Scalextric

Meeee You are speaking to the jewellery queen here You wont do any better for value and choice than QVC. Plus they offer 28 days no quibble money back guarantee....they actually encourage you to wear the jewellery for a few weeks to see if you like it. . At the moment if you order then that time is extended untill the end of Jan for returns as people buy for xmas gifts. They do sell some tacky costume jewellery but the choice goes right up to diamonds. Ive never seen such a full range of gemstones inc rarer ones anywhere else. Over the years I've bought Garnet, Aquamarine, Blueberry quartz, Morganite, Tanzanite etc etc (I could go on and on ) You just dont get that choice or price in shops. If the piece you're looking at online has been shown on the TV show then there is normally the video clip to see it close up too. Also have a look in the clearance/last clicks section as you see some real bargains there. QVC UK Cheers TR. I'll have a gander. I always thought QVC sold tat exclusively though. (Apart from them coats with a picture of a wolf on) I used to think that too, I still dislike TV shopping channels but, believe me their jewellery is excellent. Plus they are so good if you want to return anything. Just avoid the cheaper stuff on there. I bought an Iolite and aquamarine ring (white gold) 2 years ago and its beautiful, I think it was about £80...where else would you get that value? Plus you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere else that even sold that combination of gems. If its gemstones you're after, go for Tanzanite...go for AA or AAA though, much deeper colour. Its a real investment.

This is what you really do in the school gym !

So here it is: Don't suppose you fancy a pearl necklace, T/R ?? Snakey, you are deliciously predictable and I luv ya for it

Aww come on HF, please dont spoil our fun...... I wouldn't dream of it. I have the highest hopes for the whole endeavour. Can't wait to see *insert name of Ameobi hater* blow his stack when forced to vote in favour of giving Ameobi a new contract though I cant bother my head with all the shenanigans of how this will all work...I'm purely at the, this is an exciting, 'from the heart' idea!

For 2 months in 2004 Mr.Pud. Was in the habit of going home every 3 years and should have been back in 2007 but my wife became terminally ill with cancer in 2005 and I couldn't/wouldn't go anywhere. She died last year and I considered going home this year but decided I wasn't up to it and will do it next year for sure. Since retiring in 1993 my visits have been for 2 months and always geared to our first home game of the season. In 2004 managed to see 5 games and met Bobby Robson 5 days before he was fired. Noelie, I'm really sorry to hear about your wife.

I didn't think you clarified how much you were happy to put in. Don't worry snakey, you were top of my list when I was checking. If you put in £50 Snakey, you could treat me to a new pair of shoes with the rest

I've put 'up to' £100 because I'm being easy going and polite! It just depends how many people we get and how it works out...I'd be happy enough to put in £50 for example If thats how the numbers work out.
