I've been completely smoke free for 4 months now. The 3 or so years before that I smoked very little. The Government didnt have to terrorise me into giving up though! I didnt like the palpitations I was getting and the slightly phlegmy throat I was getting in the mornings....the onset of COPD I suspect. But in saying all that I am not hostile to anyone who does smoke. Infact I think smokers get a really shitty deal now.

Misfits was good, I hope they make a second series. You cant miss out on Trueblood too. There's another vampire series starting Tues night, The Vampire Diaries, not sure what it will be like but have it set to record. I think it clashes with Shameless.

I have bought a couple of those over the years too. They are beautiful, but I rekon as a gift females appreciate them more than males.

Yeah you can use them in Marriott and Hastings hotels, Premier inns. Lots of eating places, Beefeaters, Brewers Fayre, Table Table and so on. I used some of ours recently for a weekend break and a meal in a Table Table pub, very nice gift!

OOOhh I love Amsterdam, I've been twice. Cant remember the name of the Hotels though so I'm no use to you at all Bianca The most memorable place I visited was Anne Franks House, very moving. Also had several drinks in the Ajax bar too, what I remember of it!!!

The baby record book and photo frames are a nice idea, but its very probable someone else has bought them those. As you've got some baby gifts, why not get them something totally for themselves? Leisure voucehrs are good as they normally have a long expiry date (we had some for Christmas and they don't expire untill 2012) This means they have them to use up for a treat for themselves when they get five minutes on their own! 1. I have just taken a trip down memory lane reading the first few pages of this thread Strange! Where did those years go? 2. What the mammogram ones?

........or whatever its called now. Anyone had it? We have had an outbreak at work recently...most residents and staff got it to some degree. Building closed to visitors, people confined to their rooms to try to prevent it spreading, etc. But despite taking great care with all the usual procedures I still caught it after two night shifts. I was so ill. Green vomit, green diarrhoea, metal taste, shivers/fever. The first night I went to the loo 11 times I was as weak as anything for the next two days. Still not right now, indigestion all the time and feel light headed at times. YUK!!

He's just not that into you- Rubbish I have just bought Dorian Gray to watch, I'm looking forwards to it but I have a feeling I will be very let down as its one of my favourite films (and story) of all time.

Well thank you. all your good wishes worked for me Last week I had a Mammogram, Ultrasound and a Biopsy and finally today I got the results of the Biopsy, all normal. Thank goodness, its been a worrying time...but it does make you think!
