1. Sorry to hear about your kid Craig. Although I can't say I've ever been in a similar situation myself, I can imagine that it must really, really suck; especially given the time of year and whatnot (not that the time of year really makes a difference in such circumstances, of course). Things like this really do put things into perspective; even things like football, sharks and messageboard wars can seem completely and utterly insignificant by comparison (as unbelievable as that may sound)! Genuinely hope he makes a full recovery soon mate.

You mean is it worth the extra 50p? Yeah.

Get one of these: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=97237 Only catch is it's OEM, so it doesn't come in a proper box etc.
4. Whilst you're hanging around would you mind posting your AndyRATINGS? I used to like them. 67531 I still do ratings (RATINGS) whenever I actually get to see the games. Unfortunately I'm working REALLY cuntish hours at the moment, so that isn't very often. And I wouldn't have the utter AUDACITY to post opinions without having actually seen the match.
5. Sort your life out mate. That's a bad habit you've got. 67514 You're not wrong there. Makes for an interesting question though: What would be worse; wasting your life lurking on an internet messageboard for all eternity, or wasting your life making thousands of posts on an internet messageboard for all eternity? Also, for bonus boints, what is the meaning of life (if not 42)?
6. Yeah, I lurk here all the time. I'm obsessed tbh.
7. *checks thread for new replies* *reads new replies* *runs and raises TOONTASTIC ALERT alarm in admin room IMMEDIATELY* The rest of our crew will be over here shortly. Prepare yourselves for the worst TBH
8. Okay, this might sound a bit patronising or something, but I genuinely couldn't give a toss. I can’t help but think that this whole “messageboard war” thing that we've got going on here is really, REALLY pathetic. This is the internet; one of the benefits of the internet is that you (YOU!) get to chose between which sites you want to read, and which sites you don’t want to read. So basically, if you don’t like a site - or it’s users – then just don’t fucking read it. Simple solution to a simple problem, no?
9. I think it might have been sorted by running it in compatibility mode with windows 98 or something. Or it might have been by updating graphics card drivers maybe? It wasn't anything overly complicated anyway.

13. Yeah it is, but I wouldn't say it's really worth paying for it unless your a regular gamer or whatever.
14. In XP, right click on 'my computer', and click 'properties'. Click on the 'advanced' tab, and under 'performance' click the 'settings' button. On the new window that pops-up, click on the 'advanced' tab, and under 'virtual memory' click 'change'. Make note as to whether you virtual memory is currently set as 'custom size' or 'system managed size'; if it's custom size, be sure to make note of the numbers in the 'initial size' and 'maximum size' boxes. Click on 'no paging file' and click 'set'. Keep pressing the various 'apply' and 'okay' buttons until you're asked to restart your machine; do so. When you system loads back up, go back to the virtual memory settings page, and set the values back to what they were before you reset them. Click 'apply' etc. and it'll be done...
15. As a general rule, you should really defrag windows at least every two or three weeks (obviously depending on how often you install software), it doesn't really matter if you do it in safe mode or not, though it may be marginally quicker that way. To prevent crashes and to maintain a high level of performance, you should also reset your windows page file at least once a month.
16. Aye, David Jones is a Mackem I think... Nonetheless, I really doubt that this is a hoax... Surely even SSN wouldn't quote something like this as being "exclusive", and write the article as if it were true fact, if it wasn't?
17. Just noticed this on that site: 18847 All La Liga players have to have some form of buy-out fee in their contract; so the clubs generally just make it ridiculously high to prevent their players from being stolen on the cheap. I believe Ronaldinho's buy-out clause is somewhere in the region of €250,000,000...
18. Try "tools"-->"options"-->"privacy"-->"clear all".
19. I'd recommend one of these: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=6635 But generally, for gaming, you'll want one which has the lowest possible refresh rate (anything under 20ms is usually considered fine), a high contrast ratio (over 400:1) and obviously a high-ish max resolution.
20. What about the likes of Wullie, Skeletor, Sparks etc. Anyone invited them yet?
