In the short term, and this is what we're talking about what with the uncertainty over if and when Ashley will sell the club, I reckon the appointment of any manager will be better than doing nothing and leaving Hughton in charge. I'm afraid that includes even O'Leary. Anyone who gets the job won't keep it anyway once a new owner comes in.

I'm sure they said 3-6 months in May. And I remember reports (or even a statement from Keegan) and pictures on .cock about him returning to "full training" in August or something. The media will have a field day. Notice how the first quote the BBC have put up is the bit where Ashley says that he hopes "the next owner is someone who can lavish the amount of money on the club that the fans want", even though that is not the point at all.
