I think that was just you being nervous. As a neutral, I thought Germany were quite impressive and always comfortable, they never looked in any trouble and were always more likely to score. The only spell where Poland threatened was in the second half before Podolski's second goal. They should have stepped up a gear and they couldn't.

I've never heard of any countries which have dropped the format yet. The general (and media) interest in the show seems to be much higher in Britain than elsewhere in Europe, e.g. Germany or Italy.

Indiana Jones 4. It's good, but not that good.

He's a great talent and has done very well this season, and he'd be really cheap because of his contract situation. He wouldn't be ready for the first team though, he'd be no more than a bit-part player for at least one season. Well it's not as if we have a squad the size of Man U I know, and I think he'd be a very good signing, I've seen quite a lot of him. It's just that he's not even a regular first-teamer at Basel yet, people shouldn't expect too much. Apparently two Turkish clubs have had their £2m bids rejected.
