I think Wimbledon was the changing of the guard, I predict Nadal will win all the slams before Federer does. But The latter isn't finished by any stretch of the imagination. I really don't think so. Federer had glandular fever at the start of the year and still reached three slam finals. Nadal has had an exceptional season, but I don't think his body will be able to cope with the way he plays at such a high level every year. Federer has got his confidence back now, I'd definitely put my money on him winning the Australian. Did he really, or did he just trot that out because he couldn't reach the final of the Australian? Hmmmm. Either way, my view on illness and injury is that if you declare yourself fit to play, than you can't use it as an excuse when you fail, as Federer did. He didn't use it as an excuse, he never even mentioned it but it was confirmed by his former coach IIRC. It only came out a few weeks after the Australian. Hmmm. Well, as I said, if you declare yourself fit to play, then you should be fit to play, end of. I'm just saying that he's still had a very good season given that he was suffering from glandular fever at the start of the year, and I'm fairly confident that he'll be back at no. 1 after the Australian at the latest. I don't think Nadal will be able to keep playing like he has this season either. The French Open will be his again, but he won't win Wimbledon. Anyway, there will be a reception/parade of some sorts for Federer in Basel tomorrow and I think I'll be there, the fanboy that I am.

I have the same problem, I bought a new laptop yesterday and was surprised to find that the speakers are even worse than the ones on my 5 year old laptop!

You couldn't make it up. When things were going well for us, Taylor and her chums kept telling us on a daily basis that Ashley wanted out. And now that things have gone tits up, they're taking great delight in letting us know that he is "in for the long haul". Of course.

So what do people make of Poyet? I really don't know what to think.
-
Well done Roger! So much for him being finished. He'll be back at no. 1 before long.
-
No, it was Djokovic who won the Australian Open, so someone must have beaten Nadal. Can't remember who it was though. I'm hoping Federer goes on to win it, but either way it should be a good game to watch if you're a tennis fan.
-
Well done, he really deserved to beat him and he proved he has the talent and courage to actually attack the net, unlike Nadal. It's been great watching him play over the last couple of weeks. Should be a great final between two players that are great to watch.

Terim would be an absolute nightmare.

Some fantastic efforts there.

As has been mentioned, that statement is utterly pathetic and it says a lot about the pack of crooks, liars and nightclub owners in that boardroom. FACT!!11!O! Surely no-one in their right mind will fall for the blatant shit-stirring ('Keegan wanted Lampard') either. Fuck off.
-
I'm not going to watch this!
-
Aye, I still don't. You know what, as well? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the odious little cunt himself was responsible for leaking some of the stuff to the press in order to undermine Keegan. .com suggested as much last season. I wouldn't be surprised either.

Is "ToonArmy" someone from off here? Certainly bitten into McNulty and not letting go Never seen that big liverpool fan McNulty write anything positive about us before, normally too busy wanking over his signed pictures of Stevie G. What he said. Chief football writer, my arse.
