Next thing you know the police turn up wanting statements off everyone, it wasn't long after I had a letter through the door saying I had to attend court as a witness, basically a lot of hassle I didn't need. Luckily for me the lad changed his plea to guilty so I didn't have to go in the end, all he got fined was £55. All that stress for fifty five fucking pound. Unless someone was seriously hurt I'd mind my own business as they will only get a slapped wrist anyway.

Ashton is better all round player than Zigic, however Zigic being just short of 7ft would fit right in with Roeder's long ball tactics. If Roeder is still here in the summer he'll be after Crouch IMO.

We didn't sign Shearer off the back of a bad injury though did we? He was back to his usual high standard before we spent any money on him, Ashton needs to do the same before the club go anywhere near him IMO.

That list is the wrong way around tbh. Not at all. I think Emre is a useless pile of shite, and was an extremely poor buy. Apart from a freekick against Sunderland, he's done fuck all. There's no point in even having freekicks and corners when he's in the team, as they all result in the other team getting the ball. Parker is a much better player than Emre, although most midfielders in the premiership are better than Emre, so it's not saying much. What makes Parker better than Emre? Parker is very average, offers nothing going forward apart from the odd goal and spends more time breaking our attack down than helping it, defensively he's a headless chicken who dives into tackles like a fucking madman, don't get me started on his 360 spins... Emre on the other hand is the only midfielder we have along with Dyer who can make things happen, he can both of them are happy to pick the ball up and run at the opposition, I don't think anyone would argue that we've played our best football when Parker is out of the team and Butt and Emre have been in the middle, with that in mind I can't see how anyone can say Parker is our best midfielder. Emre's freekicks and corners are shit I agree, however we don't have anyone else more capable of taking them so until that's sorted then we don't have much choice.
