Oh yea Was thinking of Owen's first game for us. That 1-4 was indeed rather surreal.

Although at the time I wasn't pleased to see Martins come off, I thought the whole thing with him being visibly unhappy to come and Keegan grabbing him making sure he got a word of sympathy in with him was very healthy.

3 would have been nice but I guess it's more important Birmingham didn't get the 3 points than we get them. The Martins substitution really KILLED the game. There was nothing left of any momentum afterwards.

That what scares me a bout today. We need it, the fans are believing, the players are saying how huge this... we've seen all this before and the players just serve up a big bowl of nothing once game time comes.

It's only "good" or "fun" if it ends well.

But that's exactly the problem, Smith "wants it more" in absolutely the wrong way. Making him a waste of space on the pitch whoever we play.
