Keegan on his own or with any other team would be rather low down on the list. But as he said when he was appointed, there's simply something special about him and NUFC. He clearly has the desire to do well once again.

That's what I'm hoping for: the "reverse honeymoon effect". Most managers when they come in inject some life into a squad which has saved us from embarrassment in the past. But it's ultimately a short term fix and sees a return to shite soon enough. With Keegan there was no quick fix, but hopefully this is a sign that something will come good in the long run.
