just watched that pursuit of happyness today. I thought it was pretty good actually a lot of will smith movies are kinda shit but this one was acted pretty well and I thought the dialogue between Will Smith and Jaden Smith was good. 7/10

Generally most home support from most teams is poor. I've sat in two places with my season ticket. I first got my ST in 2000 after the extention. I was in the Milburn Paddock and the atmosphere there was always disgraceful. The last two season I have been in the Gallowgate which is better.

I agree. You think we should go in for him on a permanent deal at end of the season or do u think we should be lookin for more "finished" options? We desperately need cover for left back as after Enrique we have nothing after him. I don't think Aanholt would come cheap either! Chelsea will see him as one for the future I would have thought Yeah thats what i thought, probably around 4mil for a young talented player but with NO PL experience and isn't developed defensively to justify the price. What other options are there though? Little known players from abroad maybe? What about RB? Would people be happy With Simpson being our 1st choice RB in th PL or do we need someone better and us Simspon as backup? Personally id be happy with the former. I personally would rather we replaced Simpson as a starting RB next year, He's not a bad player but against West Brom at home he got absolutely destroyed time and time again. Can you imagine Simpson against the likes of Agbonlahor etc? We will lose so many goals if we keep Simpson there in my opinion. Good for back up but wont be good enough in the premiership. The fact that Sunderland and Blackburn didnt take the option to sign him on a permanent basis (blackburn hardly played him!) says a lot. Apart from that we need two centre midfielders and two forwards as a massive priority

I just cannot for the life of me see Sunderland going down. Portsmouth and Burnley are pretty much gauranteed to be relegated. Laws was a very poor appointment by the clarets and it's showing. Wolves, Hull etc will be more likely to go than Sunderland

Clubs will identify who they want, wait for portsmouth to be liquidated then pick up the player as a free agent. They will also be able to register the player and he will be allowed to play

Premier League set a very dangerous precedent if they allow Pompey to sell players. I'm certain they wont allow it. Simply because the club have had just over a month to sell players in the last window and they only sold two of them! Also, for once, I'm agreeing with Phil Brown here: "Hull were interested in signing the same players as Portsmouth last summer - the likes of Frederic Piquionne and Aruna Dindane - but couldn't compete financially with Pompey when it came to both fees and wages. If Portsmouth were then kept afloat with Premier League money - after spending beyond their means - how could that be fair on teams like Hull who might go down because they missed out on those players that went to Portsmouth even though they couldn't afford them?".

I've never seen the kids play, and apart from official site updates and the odd report I know next to nothing about the youth coming throug our system at the moment. It was a good result for the young ones yesterday against west ham who are often regarded as one of the best youth academy teams in England. So really, I'm just asking what is the current state of our academy? do we have anyone in there who is really showing something promising? Obviously we have the likes of Kadar, Vuckic, Forster and Krul but are there any others who we should be keeping tabs on?

As for the highlights I didn't bother watching them, they were never going to focus on controversial decisions given yesterday in our game seeming it wasn't a big tie, or a tie in the latter stages of the cup. I suspect this ref will get away with his abysmal performance and nothing more will be said about it.

Going to the game looking forward to a great day out Utter disgrace we aren't playing a full strength squad and I'm quite suprised WBA aren't either they have always played strong squads in the cup competition. Here's hoping we can progress into the next round of the competition
