  1. Fuck this shit btw. Just do the travelling. If you're that bothered about your CV though, invent the charidee work (not that most employers give a shit, all they're bothered about is qualifications, skills and work experience). To be honest Ritchie, I think it's great if people do it, but don't just do it for your CV. I know what you are saying, but the reality is that every little helps and even though there are loads out there volunteering/doing charity work for their own benefits (or because the job centre told them to) and they possibly dont have that much of an interest in what they are doing, but if it helps a good cause I don't think many charities etc will complain. One thing though for the point on volunteering/doing charity work abroad. If you are interested in that make sure the organisation you are doing it for are a registered charity, as there are many out there who are not and are just in it to make money.

  5. It will be the thing with club sites that you can somehow edit their pages, much like the Shola to Benfica that .com fell for last weeks and the press with Luke Young and Hull (I think) yesterday.
  6. It really sinks in where we are at when you are sitting hoping for a Peterborough goal to help our campaign...
  7. BBC Football, Sky Sports, Sporting Life, Livescores.com etc take your you lazy bastard...
  8. No agenda. The rest of your thread is there for all to see. I have pointed this out already. If you didn't have an agenda, why did you say the stuff backed up your pre-conceived notions of NUFC fans then? Especially when those views were not in the least way representative of the views on here? What I said was most fans that I had come across in my town. Many of them up here are arrogant and your club for that very reason is not popular amongst supporters of many clubs in Scotland. Sad for your club and the numerous good supporters you most likely have, but nonetheless true in my experience. As for an agenda I think it is fairly obvious that I don't have one. What would I gain from that? You seem to have very selective reading. Did you not read these bits? "I'm sure many of your lads and lasses are dead on. I am no bellend or glue sniffer and I won't tar you all with the same brush. As I said I wanted to have a chat with your lads and I came across a post that was disrespectful and incorrect. As I said on my post on our forum unfortunately a large propotion of your fans in Scotland seem to be of the same ilk." I've met many good Newcastle fans, as I have fans of every club. However as I said, many of your support in my experience, and especially in my home town are of the same mentality as Stevie. You are entitled to think what you like mate but I have no agenda. This bloke thinks I'm a sweaty because I have Arthurs Seat in my pic. Look mate if I was from Edinburgh I wouldn't be supporting an English club because David Hurst or Ginola was my hero as a kid, I'd support Hibs or Hearts, because they'd be my local clubs, and proper fans support their local clubs. Fuck, I'm not a proper fan.
  9. Looked like he cared but generally was poor over the 3 years he was here and to more or less recoup our money and get 65-70k off the wage bill makes sense for a club in our position.
  10. Good week considering I still had Hunt and my team and he had signed for Hull.
  11. Hes fucking clueless and has wasted the whole summer and in the long term its going to damage him as we as us. He could have let Shearer reshuffle the pack due to the crazy transfer fees we have been receiving and got a decent Championship squad with very little outlay but most of the decent players have gone. Even now though if he got shot of the likes of Duff, Colo, Guti and Geremi and used even 10 million like you say we could prob get in the likes of Beckford, Tommy Smith, Driver or Commons and a no nonsense Championship defender to replace Colo. I am not saying we would have a great squad or be favourites for promotion but it would put the club in a better position both team-wise and as an asset for him to sell.
  12. They didnt fall for this did they? http://www.slbenfica.pt/Informacao/Futebol...=Shola%20Ameobi
  13. Its catch 22. What exactly do you expect to happen when we have a wage bill that we cannot afford to pay?
  14. From the Watford Observer. Would be quite happy with him in if Duff goes...
  15. Whilst Mike Ashley owns this club I don't think it matters who the manager is, we are still right royally fucked.
  16. Colo and Enrique won't be too far behind him...leaving us with no first team defenders.

  18. Crumpy Gunt/Ugly Mackems claiming 6 million move to Everton is on from his reliable ITK
  19. Its a right fucking pain in the arse. We can't afford to let him go as we not Fat Ashley won't spend the money but 4 million is good money for an injury prone 30 year old thats on 65k a week. The thing is if we had been taken over or even Shearer backed a little by Ashley seeing the figures Duff, Beye, Bassong and Martins have went for as well as the others who have left and cut the wage bill down with the addition of a few players we could have actually had the books balanced quite a bit and still had a decent little team.
