  4. Everyone of those came from a set piece and thats generally for me the only time he looks dangerous. I do not slate the guy on here or at the matches but he really does look done to me. Each game I keep expecting for it to maybe click but game after game it is convincing me that he is finished as a player. There is no doubting he knows where the back of the net is (although as pointed out by others even alot of his shots are both weak and scuffed) but his all round game is offering very little to the side from open play. I think he'll be gone in the summer. But to who? I don't see anyone paying his wages tbh. I think he stay here until the end of his contract then leave for a big signing on fee at another club.

  6. KEVIN Keegan admits that he will give it his all to persuade Charles N'Zogbia that his future lies on Tyneside. The 21-year-old was subject of a rumoured deadline day approach from Tottenham Hotspur but any such offer would've certainly been rebuffed by the Magpies. However, Keegan says that he will still fight all the way to keep the talented French winger at St.James' Park ahead of next season. "Charles came to see me about all the speculation, and I very honestly said 'I've had no inquiries about you'," explained the Toon boss. "He's just signed a new contract here, but it's something we'll have to revisit again in the summer, because the signs are that he's not that happy here. "But this is a big club, and we've got two or three months to work with him." Keegan again asked the former Le Havre youngster to fill-in at left-back during Sunday's derby draw with Middlesbrough. And the Magpie chief has been delighted with the attitude of the France under-21 starlet, adding: "I thought he did very well again playing at left-back. "I'm not saying it's his best position, but he's a gem of a lad. He never complains at all. "He can play in midfield and left-back, but his best position is definitely on the left of a midfield four and bombing on."
  7. Hopefully I will now finally get some pennies to spend. I am classed as World Class already and the bigger clubs are sniffing about me but I think I will stick it out at Leeds just now...
  8. http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...1230676,00.html NEWCASTLE United have completed the signings of Italian striker Fabio Zamblera and Swedish goalkeeper Oli Soderberg. The pair, both 17, have penned four-and-a-half-year deals at St.James' Park and are part of the club's new recruitment drive aimed at bringing the best young talent from across the globe to Tyneside. Sweden under-17 international Soderberg joins from BK Haken and he spoke to nufc.co.uk after completing his move. "I am really looking forward to signing for Newcastle and the challenge that lies ahead. "There are lots of great players at this club and I hope that I can learn from the likes of Shay Given." Italy under-18 star Zamblera signs from Atalanta and he told nufc.co.uk: "Newcastle is a very big club and it has a very impressive stadium. "There are lots of very good strikers at this club and I know there are famous names such as Michael Owen and Mark Viduka. "I can also remember Oba Martins and Emre from when they played in Italy."
  9. Congratulations mate. Cheers dude. Picking the keys up this afternoon but not going to move in until next weekend as I have been to lazy to bother getting all my stuff sorted. Theres also no point moving in until the broadband and Sky are sorted of course...

  11. No surprise the fat man's got your backing. Glory glory, eh mate? I'm just saying he's got a lot to say about our business, both about Allardyce and Keegan. Seems like it's open season for anyone to take a pop but especially him. Aye because journalists are asking their opinion on the subject. You also say its open season and hes taking a pop at us...where exactly is he doing that?
  12. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3097536,00.html Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal is set to join Lazio on loan for the rest of the season. The Czech Republic international joined the Magpies in a £2.9million transfer from Paris Saint Germain last summer. He has made 21 appearances in the Premier League, but appears to be on his way to Serie A with a view to a permanent move. Rozehnal has been playing in midfield since Kevin Keegan returned as manager, and his agent Pavel Zika admits the 27-year-old wants to revert to a central defensive position. "David Rozehnal joined Newcastle only last summer, but has not been playing in his position in defence," Zika told Pravo. "The Lazio offer came shortly before the transfer deadline, but we managed to finish the deal." Lazio have been busy raiding the Premier League, having brought in Manchester City duo Rolando Bianchi and Ousmane Dabo during the transfer window.
  13. http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jan31l.html I cannot see us letting him go at this stage and with no replacement. Though if they want to swap with Pandev I am all for it.
