I still think Twitter is basically shite mind, most of them don't answer you and are just on it for an ego trip. Smith is who I was thinking of, and I had forgot about Kadar, another supposedly promising youngster from the brand spanking new revolutionary scouting system that would yield us the new superkids when he signed Thats 4 down and in 4 competitions though.

you don't "sell" it man in any case, you aren't supposed to "canvas" it in that way either. Basically, each to their own, you have a choice, although you don't go touting it. I would hazard a guess that some of your workmates are Freemasons, but you just don't know that they are.

that's why I'm asking, I thought it was 3, but have only heard of Guthrie and Lovenkrands. Neither are top players but in terms of the squad, they need to be replaced - and not by squad players but players capable of going into the team and current players becoming more squad players. Like he did in January, when Cisse came straight in, nobody went out, but he shoved Ameobi more out of the picture. This is how you do it.

we just get as pissed as possible Edit. I don't go anymore tbh, haven't been for a canny while now.

is this a Masonic message board Seriously I don't see it as so much a religious thing as such, most of what you hear is a myth. It certainly isn't an anti-religious cult.

I don't see anything at all in Gosling tbh. This is more a true reflection of hunting around the bargain basement, who recommended him to the club ? As for Guthrie, fair enough if he wants first team football, if it comes down to a few quid on a contract we should pay it but when a player like that goes, that you will probably need, you need to keep your numbers up at least, as well as improve the first 14 players or so. We are now 3 players down on who finished last season, I think.

that'll be the day. The boot is on the other foot. Fancy [dan] taking a film so seriously as that
-
it's a film. Do you enjoy Rocky beating the fuck out of commie bastards all on his own, being a leftie and all of that............
-
Ok Jaw D, I'll try a slight re-phrase of that, and then I'm off for the rest of the weekend and you can all debate your hearts out about it ...... Does anybody who go to games and put their cash into the club, actually OBJECT to the fact that he has not backed his manager with a huge amount of money from the sale of players into making the club as good as possible ? Do you not think that on principle, for better or worse, he OUGHT to let his manager manage his own players and give him the money from sales to spend on the team and make it as good as possible ? If we have really found a Houdini scout ie the new Peter Taylor, who is going to carry on pulling rabbits out of hats in the transfer market and we got 5th because of it, do people not want to see how much better we could do if he actually had all that 32m quid profit or are they happy with being 5th and seeing the owner pocket cash and/or supporting the balance sheet, rather than even better results on the pitch and have as good a team as possible, even better than now ? I've always said this, but if Mike Ashley gives his managers 100% support, then he will get mine.

you stopped me there, because I thought you may have been right so looked it up. http://en.wikipedia....anni_Trapattoni Edit. Ok. I've found it. You are right.

well, talking about odds and betting [which we weren't] what price Spain winning the 3rd competition on the trot, or Italy ripping up the betting books again. After the way they beat Germany, you have to take your hat off to them. Their history is littered with bouncing back after a disaster and coming up with all guns blazing, they won the World Cup under Trappatoni after a slow start, when they were not expected to, and they could win this cup now. Some countries just have the winning approach. However hard England try, we just can't do it like Germany and Italy over a prolonged period.
-
so you agree that they aren't going to disappear and be taken over my Tesco then ?
-
that is correct, and as for Peter Beardsley, he has always been a yes man. I think after what happened to Keegan, his supposed mate/playing colleague/manager/and managerial colleague on his England staff, his arse licking of Ashley is beyond anything I can recall. It's a disagrace tbh. We have had one good season, where we performed higher than expected, unfortunately without genuinely reaching out higher it has absolutely no chance of being sustained and has been said, it takes a lot more than that to call a club progressive, ambitious and to wipe out everything that has happened in the previous 4 years. It just amazes me how people can be so blind to what is happening, and the completely illogical hope that you can continue selling your best players to make the owner money while pulling rabbits out of the hat for a fraction of the price made from selling these players. it really does.

why are you surprised ? It's the political brainwashing of kids by idiotic clueless lefties that gets on my tits with teachers, although I know some are not like that and are OK. This general impression has only been added to by some clueless arseholes at the school my daughter went to in her teens until she finished 2 years ago.

I brewed barrells and bottles, at different times. I got pissed off trying to keep the barrell cool and keeping the gas in it, so i tried bottles. I thought about getting a 2nd hand fridge and taking the inside out to put the barrel in to keep it cool, but never did. Haven't done it for a long time now though, but the heat mat is great for wine and beer, it keeps the temperature constant during the brewing.
