First step if you can't do what Matt suggested is to get it setup with a new HD with an operationg system - you could then have the old disk as the secondary drive. Getting data back should be feasible but it might cost - I bought a data recovery tool last year which was about £30 which worked wonders. You can also get it done by some computer shops but I don't know how much it costs (and defintely not PC world if its porn )

I might have gone if they were coming to Newcastle. ...or weren't being supported by Manic Street bloody Preachers. I wouldn't mind seeing Coldplay but wouldn't sign up for that out on principle for them being above the far superior Manics.

If its oldish you need to be careful as most HDs nowadays are SATA whereas older PCs will use IDE (different connectors). You can still get IDE drives but you won't be able to get one with an OS on it - you'll need to install it and transfer your info.

I also love Monkey Business/Life but have no guilt whatsoever on that one.

There are at least two things about India for which in an idea world they would be completely ostracised from the international community - the caste system and this bias towards male children which results in countless murders and suffering. When Apartheid was the big cause in the 80s I read an article which showed that the Caste system was worse but of course it was denounced as racist.

I sometimes have to stop and watch those - its amazing how many blokes those women shag with no thought whatsoever (no excuse for the men of course). I also have to confess to watching 2 or 3 of the last series of How to look good naked - I think what Gok does for those women is quite moving at times.

My take was always that he couldn't get over the disappointment of 95/96 - I think buying Shearer was Hall's attempt to reinvigorate him but I don't think it worked.

That's one story that has been raised before - the strain on Gerry Francis' face when we beat Spurs is another, the PLC is another.....

Nice to see a divine righter saying that Lampard and Terry should sign for a proper team if they want to win the CL.

Makes you sound like one of those on tap for Sky outside SJP 24/7 type mongs

Overall I agree - though the idea of "popping in" in June to choose a seat isn't practical for me. Having said that a couple of my mates moved to the east stand last year (because of dodgy knees and being lazy fat twats) so I could just bunk in with them.
-
Looks like I'll be moving - I'm in the Milburn towards the Leazes which I gather will either be the family enclosure or close to it. A move back to the east stand where I used to sit 84-91 could be on the cards.

The difference between government attitudes to drugs and drink as described by Alex imo are: 1. No big business interests in drugs 2. Daily Mail readers (see "sending a message" bollocks)

The result was terrible but last night surely can't be compared to the Milan/liverpool 3-3.

I have a lot of football grudges - some of them are sad and some of them I'm sort of proud of. I know its not a well recognised fact and it didn't make the slightest difference to the result but I still think Anelka's goal for Arsenal in the final in 98 was controlled with his hand. Replays have never proved it but I'd despised the twat ever since. This came to mind when he strode forward for his pen. I still can't bring myself to be "happy" Man U won but I did take pleasure in Chelsea losing.

There was a solar eclipse in Nigeria about 10 years ago I think and a Muslim Mob rioted and killed 20 christians (could easily have been the other way round) who they blamed for the event. The level of education in parts of Africa is sadly not far past the dark ages - see also the classic "sex with a virgin cures AIDS".

Didn't Doherty do 29 days out of 14 weeks? That would suggest about 2 months.

The film was good and the pikots/Wallis deserve the plaudits but as I understand it, the effects were massivley exaggerated. The nuclear programme was 633 squadron or The Heroes of Telemark - get your films right

2 or 3 pages is fine if its an employment history - I would query one which was that brief it had gaps covering longish periods. I had one to look at a couple of months ago which was 16 pages - too far the other way - it was like a diary of what the bloke had done every day of his life.

Wasn't he a typically ginger Celt though? When I first heard I thought he had a connection with us then thought I'd confused him with Tommy Craig - then .com noted that he was here with Dalglish. RIP.

That is absolutely fantastic (he said after a 2 minute tour). The Internet now has a use beyond porn.

For each job state the skills used/acquired. Also list skills with length of time used + level of expertise eg SQL Server 9 years - expert level That's the kind of info that catches my eye - what can you do and how deep is your knowledge.

JobServe is the best I've found for IT.

I love the phrase "Offensive football"
