really hate malt vinegar

and although I once would cake my chips in salt, now it's a dusting at worst.

I like Balsamic Vinegar on salads or bruschettas and the like.

I've really gone of chips lately, been ages since I had a really good bag, plate or side of chips I really don't feel it's worth it.

If the place will swap for curly fries I'll have a bit of them... but it's getting to the stage where I'mnot too fussed about them either.

You should only ever use salt once you have tasted your food and determined whether it needs seasoning.

The one and only exception to this is chips where salt is nothing short of mandatory ;)

Oh and salt first, then vinegar. Then mebbes salad cream.

You may as well just move to Holland and become part of acceptable society if you're going to do that with your chips ;)

btw, T/R, 'south of the river' stops around Durham way. After that is 'Down South' - somewhere you live close to. South west is 'yokel' country.
