Guest Tuco Ramirez Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 I watched Ashington a few weeks ago with a few mates in the FA Cup 2ND Quals, they beat Thackley 1-0, and they're an excellent side should've won 5-0. They've been playing their reserves the last few games to keep first teamers fit for their FA Cup game on Saturday against Droylsden. Now you have to look for value, and consider this. Take it from me, Ashington are a very good side, the performance I saw a few weeks ago was as good as I've seen from Blyth or Gateshead over the last few years. Last year Ashington beat Blyth 4-0 in the NSC, and this season in the BSN Blyth won 0-3 away at Droylsden. So looking at the odds of 5/1 for an Ashington win, it's well worth a punt imo.
