I like Keane. Alright, he's not worth that but he's a class player and Spurs don't need the money so why sell on the cheap. Having said that I reckon Liverpool could get him for less than the figure being quoted.

His value should always have £5M subtracted for the roly poly celebration.

Keane very underrated tbh

You think £20M is underrated when Crouch has a comparable goalscoring ratio and has a year on him agewise?

Don't see the what price has to do with it tbh.

Underrated in the general context of things. If you think Crouch is anywhere near as good as him though, you're quite clearly retarded.

Oh and 80 in 197 and 22 in 85 quite clearly the same btw

SSN reporting that we're about to snatch Digard from under the noses of Boro for around £4m.

Tom Huddlestone has signed a contract extension at Spurs.

Obviously been given another chance to prove his worth.

I thought he may have been an affordable Newcastle target.

eh? He is an England under 21 regular breaking through to the full team and he would be relatively cheap in todays market.

Its fairly common knowledge that you are now cutting your cloth to fit now rather than getting into silly debt.

I would say he would have fit quite well into a KK team.

I'd have thought the purchase price of a player is the best indication of how they're rated on the market.

Dunno where you got your numbers

Crouch 72/182

Keane 129/287

Keane's ratio is better, just, but they're both around 2 in 5.

He's lazy, fat with no engine. Honestly what are you talking about?

He has slimmed down alot and was never really lazy. His mobility is an issue however his distribution is very good.

Ramos is given him a second chance and Capello hasnt written him off......but you dont rate him.

Who to trust?

Good question, Zokora whilst having the tools for the job has less of a footballing head than the Toonspastic Torres; plus Big Tom isnt the most mobile of units so we definitely need someone to fill that position.

Rumours were knocking about that Diarra was part of the Defoe deal as the scum would not deal with us but if that were the case I am sure he would have signed by now. Veloso's name keeps getting metiontioned but Juve look interested so we know how that will pan out.

I liked the look of engelaar in the Euros but he looks Shalke bound, also Modric plaqyed a lot deeper in the Euros than I expected so he may take up a Carrick style anchor role rather than us having an out and out DM.

Honest answer, I have less of a clue than torres has when it comes to the ladies.

Spurs striker Darren Bent was last night in talks with Sunderland after the two clubs agreed a £10million fee for the England forward.

Bent flew up to the north-east to speak to Black Cats boss Roy Keane, with the Irishman desperate to replace his injured strike star Kenwyne Jones.

Yeah if you believe the press we won't have any strikers at the club next season

I personally fully expect it to be the same three up front for us next year.

Figures are league goals with current clubs.

I tend to think this is more accurate than over the course of their careers considering Keane has had a spell in Italy and Crouch has had more years than Keane in the 2nd tier.
