I'd love Man Utd to pummel them 4-0, and see what Xavi et al have to say about who are the best team in Europe then. FWIW Barcelona are brilliant side, but you tell me one top class, and I mean top class who they have pummelled over the last few years. The answer is there isn't one. Should be a good neet. Jimbo 133 Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Barca all the way for me, I couldn't cope with the hoards of plastic Mancs having something else to crow about, that aside I enjoy the style of which Barca play, I watch a lot of Spanish football and I think it would be fitting if they won given the way they have played this season, plus seeing Guardiola in charge gives me a bit of confidence that an appointment of a former player, a club hero, as manager can work out. I was under the impression it was a team largely comprised of homegrown talent / people who'd been there since they were kids. Already sick to the teeth of the arrogant Mancs and the shite Ive taken off them about this being their "best season" winning the league, seeing us relegated with AS at the helm and then them winning the CL. So they will press Barca and sit quite deep, bodies behind the ball and squeeze the game. Then they will more than likely get a goal due to a mistake from a makeshift Barcelona defence.
