Anyone else get the feeling he could be playing for us next week? We're on the desperate lookout for a striker and his agent has said he is DEFINITELY leaving in Jan. i say we could get him as his choices at the moment (according to agent) WBA and notts forest, why not come to us Viccy ;)

between Notts, WBA and "several premiership clubs" and our apparent inability to actually put in decent offers for people (other than routledge who we're not sure how much we've paid for)

I listened to his agent on SSN yesterday and can't remember him saying 5-6M???? He did say though that he isn't good enough yet to play for a Top team but could be a squad player in the Premiership. Would be worth a punt if the price was right

Premiership bound without a doubt.

yup. they won't want to accept less than the £5m for him they need to stay afloat until the end of the season.

although they might be tempted to sell for slightly less towards the end of the window, i still can't see a championship side coming up with the kind of money required.

even real madrid have been linked with him!

They're hardly in a position to dictate those sort of terms. If they get 3 bids in the £2m region they can't indefinitely hold out for £5m if they're that fucked. Plus, teams know they're desperate so they'll try and take advantage of that.

think that administration rules state that they'll get a valuation from an independent agent and they can't then refuse any offer that match or are higher than that value

I think there may be a touc. Of the "Oba tough paper-route" about him.

Both his parents were killed when he was only a kid and an uncle(I think) brought him to England with f-all paper work.
