Nobby 0 Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) There's a good bar upstairs directly opposite Central Pier (used to be called One Eleven but has just been refurbished) that shows the matches on foreign tv on big screens for anyone without a ticket. There are 5 of us traveling but only one match ticket lol. Where is everyone drinking before game? I want a party atmosphere ala sam jacks or idols... Last time we played I was in Manchester Bar in Blackpool and it was brilliant!! Newcastle songs, flags and full of Geordies. Anywhere better or is this place to be? Head to the North Pier to start with if you get there for opening time (9am). Was a good laugh there last time in the Merrie England before we walked the Promenade hitting the bars up to the ground, The Manchester was closest to the ground and was bouncing. Hopeful of a victory, they'll be seeing this as a hugely important match and will be going for three points. Could work for or against us depending on how we start.
