The Fish 11479
Need a good recommendation that meets various (and sometimes contradictory) requirements; 1. Got to be pretty close to Seaton Sluice (15-20 minute drive max) 2. Got to have a menu that is both good quality, without being too "artsy fartsy" 3. Got to be able to have tables where a couple of bigger people can comfortably sit. 4. Not a fish restaurant. If you can argue amongst yourselves until there's a top 5 to choose from, that'd be great. We've been guilted into spending time up north for the Festive Gooch and there's no way I'm leaving the planning to them lot, no FUCKING way. Booked a cottage near Alnwick we can stay in, sorting somewhere we can go for food, and looking at stuff that my kids will enjoy too.

The Fish 11479
Kind of related to this thread, if anyone's ever passing through Nottingham they should swing by here; Best Indian Street Food in Nottingham | Bombay Delicatessen Went to Brecon a couple of weekends ago, and a mate brought a feast from here for one of the nights down there. Everything was dead simple to bring up to temperature and tasted like it'd just been cooked fresh. Big tick from me. ✅

Gemmill 53057
Omni in Monkseaton? I was at Billy's Bootleggers on Stepney Banks last night shoving PattysMelts burgers into my face and they were great. I'd suggest Scream For Pizza, but you seem like more of a GoodFellas/ChicagoTown kinda guy.
