RTG will be in fuckin' meltdown. Mags will be livid over Allardyce.

He'll be the best manager they've had in a while. They suit each other.

Shit football for a shit club.

You have to commend their optimism but Fat Sam is tactically limited and plays what I would call "Anti-football".

We've watched some abysmal shit since then but away to Wigan under Allardyce on boxing day 2007 remains the singularly worst performance I've ever seen from us in 30+ years.

The Allardyce (then Keegan) season was my first ever season ticket. What a load of shite it was. I still have nightmares from when we lost 1-4 at home to Portsmouth after conceding 3 goals in something like 4 minutes.

Even if he does take him down in the next two seasons he'll walk away with the media saying it was an impossible job etc.

From SMB

"I've always felt that Sam would manage us one day or another and we are really quite lucky to get him given our current plight.

I am convinced he is the best one to keep us up this year, definately more likely to do it than Rodgers, and honestly can see him being a big success for us"

Tbf, the one thing he's good at is keeping teams up. The flip side is the brand of football, if you can call it that

The win away to Fulham (iirc Barton scored a pen in injury time) was ridiculously dour as well.

He just might keep them up, but I still think if we can avoid gifting them 6 points this season, they'll go down.

That was my first away game in years

They're welcome to him

The Derby game at home under him was atrocious too. Tried to keep the draw and ended up conceding which was a theme of his management. One of those will be exempt from criticism because arse licking pundits are mates with him

We'll do them 3-0 unless they buy decent players in January then even Allardyce won't even keep them up as they have some shit in their team.

If we can stop giving them six points as has been stated, that would go a massive way to seeing them doomed. Would be nice to see the lazy 'Sam keeps teams up' mantra fall flat on it's face from the likes of Merson et al. However, looks like I've a ticket for the derby and I can see that smug bastards face now if they beat us with the old 'new manager, new bounce' trick yet again.

He's living off 4 top 8 finishes with Bolton. And that was when there were only 2-3 good teams in the league. Glenn Roeder got us 7th ffs

The knobs i work with genuinely don't accept that we've had a tougher start than them. Then when they took the piss out of our cup exit and I pointed out that they went out too they had the neck to say "but wuh played man city" without any irony whatsoever

They'll be calling him an ex maggie cunt soon, let them enjoy the 1 month honeymoon. I can barely make out what he's saying in between him gasping for air the fat blob.
