I think we should be proud of England yesterday considering all of the factors I've mentioned. We were better yesterday than we were against Ireland in 1990, and had a good tournament. Spain lost to Switzerland in their opening game of the last World Cup, and hung on against Chile in the next game. It's not about how you start it's about how you finish, you get in to a rhythm by game three.

I think the media are right to praise everything, and as Parky said Sweden are no spring chickens, and Ukraine's three main men Sheva, Voronin and Tymoschuk are about 100 years between them, while we have youth on our side right round the park.

We've got proper pace up front now and that will tell late in games.

Wish I had your confidence Stevie, I can easily see us losing our other two games. Not saying we will obviously, but of the four teams yesterday I thought we were the worst.

Nonsense.

Knights Templar worked hand in hand with many muslims in towns hence them being allowed special permissions in Cordoba and so on...Also one of the reasons they were hunted down later by the Pope and and the Catholic French King...The Templars were also initiated into some of the Muslim mysticism which gave them a massive advantage when developing an early secret banking network. Some of the myth and ritual is still in practice today for judges and parliament. Templars live on.

"Russia Today are breaking the news that police have opened fire on Russian and Polish fans as they clash in Warszawa. One reported fatality"

Fuck's sake UEFA, if you're gonna rig who hosts the tournament, at least have the good sense to rig the groups so you don't have two sets of the most unstable fans in world football bearing down on one another in the group stages.

Bad crack the fighting. Russia have been warned once... wonder what UEFA are going to do...well... i know: nowt.

Gemmill, is anyone else reporting a fatality? If that is the case then that is fucking awful, both teams should be chucked out.

Dunno that's just from Touchline Drama. Haven't seen any other reports, but haven't been looking.

Someone needs to shoot the fucking birds in the background on ITV. Sounds like Chiles is whistling a tune through his nose.

Just waiting for some holier-than-though media prick to claim "England have no room to talk when it comes to violence at tournaments" :glare:

Or alternatively someone to claim that "If that was England doing that, UEFA would chuck us out the tournament."

The maj of freemasons are jag driving (they used to have rovers) clowns who collect money at garden fates and have no clue that their mystery religion (the heart of freemasoners) derives from babylon and swears it's oath to a pantheon of 'gods' inc Lucifer. The real 'illuminati' of which some fo the Templars are aligned are much bigger and skillful fish (check the film Prometheus for clues). ;)

Needs a history lesson for starters but it's an interesting take on identity.

I think it's both a weakness and a strength of Muslims that they see themselves as all "related" - it does get in the way of integration locally but I think as a concept as a whole it isn't bad - international socialism where working class people across borders should join together is an example of a similar ideal.

It's also interesting on whether you want to identify with people. One of the main reasons I don't support England is the bellend factor among the fans that I just don't want to be associated with. I don't mind the St George thing and even the spitfires as they are generally just daft fun but when it comes to the No Surrender brigade they can all fuck off as far as I'm concerned.
