In that case the Customs Union appears to be the only thing Corbyn and May disagree on.

Oh great, so we're totally fucked after all then. This is why I was down after the first round of indicative votes. Can someone please explain to me what the point of being in the CU is without being in the SM? Seriously, please.

Some stupid Labour MP bint on R5 now saying staying in the CU will protect agriculture, the car industry, and aerospace.

No it fucking won't. They really just don't understand the issues involved. Frightening.

Confidence vote against May being mooted by 1922.

No details whatsoever from Corbyn's meeting other than that it 'went well'.

Fuck knows where we're ending up. I'm trusting Keir Starmer on all of this more than Corbyn, although apparently Sturgeon met with him beforehand and was reassured by what he said. Though she could just be over selling it as a pressure move.

Thought they had to wait another 11 months for a VoNC?

I'm just relaying what I read in the Graun. Would be hilarious if that was overlooked though.

It was a vote for an indicative vote for a vote of no confidence, apparently. This is getting silly now.

Isn't that the third time it's been 'killed' though?

What does it actually mean?

Fuck knows tbh. Parliamentary process is confusing at the best of times, utterly bewildering at the moment.

Some concerning signs that if Cooper succeeds later, Corbyn will abandon PV2. No need for him to go for it after that, apparently.

Maybe the EU will insist on it?

Has there ever been a thicker fuck in parliament than Ian Lavery? A corrupt cunt as well.

Quote

At tonight’s special meeting of the Shadow Cabinet, Ian Lavery said “this party could be finished by a People’s Vote” and warned Jeremy Corbyn he would be the leader who split Labour if he backed one.

Corbyn/May talks essentially pointless as she offered nothing apparently.

Yeah I noticed that. Reassuring in a way since I don't trust Corbyn not to "compromise" on FOM.

I suggest a referendum on who wants to repeatedly punch Sebastian Payne in the face. That would bring the country together.

I’ve nothing against him personally but he looks like a cunt.
