To suggest the nation loved the dance is patent nonsense, but her pledge to end austerity shows she's clearly more concerned about the threat posed by corbyn than that posed by johnson. she may well cling on to power for a little while longer, as unbelievable as that seems. Perhaps the Tory fucknuts have learnt that the best way out of a recession is to spend, not enforce austerity. Mind, not sure we will be able to pay back our creditors. They're just too cynical - one thing they have done extremely well is used Brexit as a smokescreen from all the other chaos they've wrought. So we're going to be a poorer nation, with a bleaker future, but 'at least Corbyn's Labour won't be in power'. I'm ashamed to be British. We have so much potential as a country and we fritter it away on small minded nonsense which only serves to keep bland, stupid people at the top of society in control of large amounts of money. We may may not be an imperial power house any more but we are still the worlds 5th largest economy with a hell of a lot of influence in the world in all sorts of ways whether that’s our soft power, our universities, our language, our tech sector or our service sector of law and finance. 95% of the worlds growth is outside of Europe and we will be far better placed outside of the EU to take advantage of that growth. The EU still has lots of eurozone financial issues under the surface and also are heading to a much more federal position. We are finally going to have a sensible immigration policy that caters for the UK’s needs, not just a source of cheap labour. I see nothing but a very positive future for this country and think we will look back in a few years and wonder why we didn’t do it sooner.
