James Daly on Sky basically saying "if Houchen wins tomorrow it's all fine".

That'll go down like a shit sarnie with ousted Tory councillors across the nation, I'm sure.

Which will be even worse with additional tactical voting in a GE.

They can hang on to November for me, it's only gonna get worse for them if they do.

Windmilling randoms on Gossie high street later if anyone fancies it.

Driving to work down the high street shortly. I have a mad max type car so I’m taking cunts out as I go.

The mackems and blackpool were the two best results for reform it appears. What a surprise.

There is a little bit of local context in Gosforth, insofar as the Tory candidate has been standing for the last few years, actually being properly active between elections too and building up a personal vote, so this was probably only a matter of time.

But also the Lib Dems stood someone with an even more recognisably Asian name than the Tories, and Gosforth is Gosforth. 😬

Reform were just over 100 votes off overtaking the Tories in Blackpool South.

Meanwhile, Greens got elected in Elswick and Byker so they outnumber the Tories 2 to 1 anyway

Elswick has obviously changed since I last lived there

I DID change, that's why I move away from Elswick over 15 years ago thank you very much. Though I did only move to Arthur's Hill, so it was really out of the frying pan and into a very similar frying pan.

I go for walk/runs from my work sometimes. Arthur's hill is a section I always run. :)
