Aye looks like a really good move bringing in Butler early. If these two hang about for a while longer and then we have Morgan and Stokes to come in who can score really fast, we're going to give them a really difficult chase even with Amla and AB.

someone like buttler coming in at number 4 and the two aggressive openers is the future of one day cricket. shame it took us so long to catch up with the rest of the world. cook was still opening in ODIs not long ago.

fair enough. the run rate has been close to ten an over the past 5, so he was always going to give a chance away at some stage. plenty of firepower still to come. 400 on the cards

Aye no complaints about the dismissal it's just amazing how often it happens after someone getting a hundred.

AB is looking like he might have a bit of an injury. Let's hope it effects his batting. Don't want to see a thirty odd ball hundred from him.

our second highest ODI total after that one against the kiwis last summer. i like the new direction of this side. buttler at four is intriguing. gives him a chance to make a score batting with top order players. he's good enough to come in there in ODI cricket.

Easily. He's easily good enough to play as a specialist ODI batsman if they fancied having Bairstow in the team too.
