Wall-E

Right up there with Toy Story and Monsters INC, just brilliant.

Good quality? Or are you abroad at the moment?

Reasonable quality, I'd give it about 7/10, hopefully there'll be a better version kicking around soon, got it for the kids, it was enough for them to enjoy.

I think I'll restrain myself until next week and see it on the gig screen....then obtain it for repeated viewings.

Genuinely curious Sloop, do you enjoy "switch off your head" mindless fun films, or just not see the point in them?

I only ask because I'd assume both those films would be high on the octane, low on the cerebral challenge.

Wanted was completely hideous. I don't think anyone can fathom how bad that film is untill they've experienced it. it wasn't entertaining or fun. it verged on sadism at times. had absolutely no redeeming qualities. was one giant Matrix rip off. it was utter tripe.

I'll answer your question another time when I'm not as exhausted. but seriously, Wanted wasn't entertaining or fun.

The Incredible Hulk. Decent comic book stuff but a bit disapointing considering the talent on display. I honestly can't remember the first one so I don't know how it compares with that but I didn't think it was as good as Iron Man and definitelty gets no where near the best X Men and Batman films.

The Taking Of Pelham 123. I've fancied watching this for years but somehow never got round to getting before. Which is a shame because it's a classic 70's film with brillian performances from Robert Shaw, Walter Mathau and Martin Balsam. And you get Frank Costanza for good measure!
