I’m still hopeful we can make a late (Liverpool last season) type rally from January, but my enthusiastic hopes for since this season are now tempered. Nobody’s fault, just the consequences of over achieving last season and bad luck this season. It’s proved we are only a small jump away from being a serious Champions league team. Bruno would arguably would be better used in a more advanced number 8 role and be a rotation option to a proper number 6. I agree that Miggy will be upgraded in time but we can’t fix everything in Janury. the biggest weaknesses are glaring to me: two strikers whose fitness can’t be relied on, and no out and out defensive midfielder.
