ekitike

Recommended Posts

do we really want him?

do the bindippers really want him?

is he being used as a pawn in a power struggle game for isak?

am I a conspiracy theory nutter?

if we genuinely want this kid and equally have the resolve to keep isak then meet the release clause.

if the player prefers a move self pity city make sure the murdering cunts at least have to pay the full price for him.

The boss move would definitely be to just plant our palm in their face when it comes to Isak and use the other hand to trigger Ekitike's release clause.

Part of the bullshit from yesterday was the view that "Liverpool have been told no on Isak so they'll just take Ekitike now instead".

Well not if we push the price beyond the point that they're comfortable to pay. I'd much sooner we did that than penny pinched and lost out because Liverpool can offer the promise of trophies.

Just take a bit of a PSR risk and tell the commercial director he needs to plug the hole.

its a massive indicator to PIF's ambitions for newcastle these coming days i think. not a fucking chance they should be giving in to the dippers, at any price. or a potentially sulking isak for that matter.

if we want ekitike pay what it takes and sell him a vision.

we start next season on an even keel, we're both in the CL, we both have 38 premier league games to play. the fucking repulsive cunts weren't that much better than us and they won't have it anywhere like as easy this time round with all the competition being so inconsistent.

fuck liverpool.

Aye I agree. This is a test as you say. I just posted similar above just before you sent this one - we should take this deal beyond a level that Liverpool are comfortable with (assuming they won't go to the release clause, which is excessive) and work out the PSR stuff later. Over a 5 year deal, the gap between current bid and the full whack isn't even that much.

the murdering cunts are trying to cover all bases according to the bbc's gossip column.  they"ve 'made enquiries' on every striker in football. its fucking laughable...

Doesn't exactly seem like there's much strategy behind it.

If we want to have any hope of overtaking these on the pitch, we have to come out on top in situations like this. Second half of the season, we weren't that far off them, and they've got ageing stars. Situations like this will be the difference maker.

Must admit, I did assume that Liverpool would need to sell one of Diaz or Nunez to even think about finding a striker but the rules literally do not apply to them so probably not. Surprised they haven’t put a few articles out saying that we should give them Isak because Jota died

Not quite but James Pearce of the Athletic makes it clear that Diaz should put his career on hold out of respect for Jota.

What difference does his relationship with the Liverpool fans make if he's playing for Bayern. They think they're so fucking special.

 Maybe he can ask Alexander-Arnold about the special relationship you can have with the Liverpool fan base.

Though I agree, he shouldn’t move. Fuck them and their shitty little negotiating tactic

The irony of him using Jota’s death and how distasteful that is, and suggesting it should influence Diaz, will of course be completely lost on James Pearce. And how’s it any different to Liverpool trying to sign strikers?

Posted (edited)

they've just been talking about it on radio2 news, had some nasel voiced, phlegm spitting cunt on there who still hadn't been to bed yet after night out robbing his granny and neighbours for his opinion.

apparently it's a real show of intent by the champions to cement their place as the top club in the country.

no it isn't yer murdering cunt, it's a deliberate attempt to unsettle a player at well under his value.

did the bbc think it might be worth having a newcastle supporter on there for balance too?

did they fuck, the bindipper sycophants.

Quite frankly I'm finding it fucking bizarre they're entertaining the idea of selling Diaz and/or Nunez - even more so in the wake of losing Jota.

They won the league pretty much at a canter yet seem inclined to break the squad up. It's almost like Slot has bought into the criticism that he's only achieved success with Klopp's squad and therefore is hell-bent on doing it his way, and with his players.

Seems bonkers - reminiscent of Dalglish at NUFC, anyone?

Diaz wants to go doesn't he? And I assume Slot doesn't rate Nunez and wants to sell him whilst people can still remember when he looked quite good.

If Isak is a hard no then you'd think the next plausible solution for them is either Watkins or Wissa and not Ekitike.

Both are proven in this league, but then both will come at a premium that perhaps Liverpool are not prepared to pay.

I don't suppose either of them want to go - why would they?

Nunez is effective against certain types of team. Us in particular. Some of the discussions I had with our fans at Wembley drew the consensus we were happy Jota was starting as Burn & Schar stood more chance of containing him.

I just get the sense Slot is trying to do more than enhance the squad he's inherited and instead is looking to stamp his mark on it.

If he goes does it not mean they're more likely to come in for Isak or Etikite though? Think I'd rather he stays put.

They don’t really think they can get Isak in this window IMO. They’re doing the cunts trick of unsettling him so he doesn’t sign a new contract and they can get him next summer on a reduced wage than they would otherwise. Proper cunts trick when Real Madrid do it but I’m sure it’s fine when Liverpool try it

Next season he still has 2 years on his contract.
