I'll give you a £1 if I can start the murderers game thread?

Whilst £1 is an incredibly tempting sum, it would be a break in tradition, quite happy to receive creative input via DM but not so sure a full blown abdication of responsibility is appropriate.

Hang on, how is it a break in tradition. Toonpack started this one and we didn’t lose. Or is the tradition a trade of cash for speeding along the process?

This is correct. Incredibly frustrating that we lost 2 points because of Isak. If it weren't for that cunt, we would be outside contenders for a league challenge. But without a recognised striker, we will struggle for top 6 unfortunately. The more I think about his actions, the more outrageous I find them.

Yep, we have one piece of the jigsaw missing, and it's all because a greedy cunt can't see what he's already got in front of him.

I sincerely hope we give those scouse cunts an absolute battering on Monday - primarily because I want him to realise, with no doubt, that he's backing the wrong horse.

Aye, I've definitely said this a couple of times, but talk of being on strike is one thing, but when match day comes around and a perfectly fit member of the squad isn't there because he'd rather play for someone else. The cunt can just fuck right off.

If and when he leaves I'll watch any game he's involved in hoping he breaks his fucking leg.

I guess it's cos it's now just so tangible, we can directly see the consequences of his actions in front of us. Those two points, how significant will they be come May 2026?

As for next Monday, I hope we do a job on Liverpool but again, hard to see how without a finisher.

My usual attitude when a player who's done well for us moves on is to wish him well in all but any games we play against them, or that are materially advantageous for his new side to lose.

I wish this prick nothing but bad - and it's all on account of how he's behaved.

The most recent player who wanted to move on that springs to mind is Shay Given. I was fucking annoyed and made it clear at the time, but I understood where he was coming from so was ambivalent to him unless he way playing against us.

This arsehole, I hope, gets minimal game time and his career crashes and burns.

Not like you to be pessimistic.

The issue is he's had ample time to realise how bad this looks to the paying supporters and either moderate his behaviour, or issue some sort of statement - however woolly, via his representatives.

He's done fuck all and in doing so has continued to stick two fingers up to the very people who have backed the entire last 3 years of his career.

No matter how good a footballer he is, he's an absolute cunt.

Eh? How is it pessimistic? Its obvious we need a striker and with 6 days left, until Liverpool, none are on the horizon.

What position do you think we'll finish in if the status quo remains?

There will be no resolution until he's either sold or the window has shut. The man is a prick. Yes he has been badly advised and encouraged by his agent but he has monumentally fucked up. Regardless of all that, we aren't going to get anyone of similar talent in this window so the best we can hope for is that he admits defeat and knuckles down for the rest of the season. I previously suggested giving him an improved contract with a release clause but fuck that now. If anything he should be on reduced wages, the absolute cunt.

Well, Chelsea won’t make top 4 the CWC is going to catch up on them and kill them. Arsenal looked utterly garbage and I think Gyokores is going to fail massively, so I reckon top 6 is well within our ability with the team we have.

Aye. I've no issue with the release clause if its high enough, fuck giving him a pay increase though.

Only if Isak plays to his full ability. And we definitely need an Isak backup as well.

Fair enough, your opinion. I don't agree (if nothing changes) but I'd hardly say that was a pessimistic take, especially when I said we had an outside chance of winning the league if we had a striker. Its a pretty unusual situation for a team to play 40 odd games without a striker. Obviously I hope the situation changes.

We need to be doing the leg work, to secure that for January, right now.

Nah, we need it in this window. Even if Isak comes back begging on his hands and knees he won't play a game for at least a month and even then he is always liable to pick up an injury. We can't let the window shut without having at least two strikers.

I don't think we've got time this window to get the right player. We need a stop-gap until January.

That cunt and his agent have seriously fucked us over.

Just to add, I agree with your point we need to get 2 strikers in, my comments about doing the leg work for January was to be looking to secure the right long-term target.

I think right now we need to get Wissa in (if possible) plus one other. But the other might well be a stop-gap signing.
