Why wait for the inevitable? Sorry, but that is poor management imo.

Agreed. I'm not saying it's how it should be, I'm saying it's how it WILL be.

Eddie won’t drop Pope who will play a blinder next two games but will drop the biggest clanger ever on Dec 14th…..End of Newcastle career

Pope dropping a clanger against the mackems on the occasion of my 50th birthday. If that happens, I expect Eddie to have him killed.

Am missing this match entirety, seeing Jimmy Nail playing Crocodile Shoes at the exact time as the match. This was arranged way before the fixture list, will be interesting to see how the ex Geordie brick layer plays it, am sure he'd like to watch it.

And people can take the piss all they want, I like his music. 👍

Matinee performance for the nanas.

We're in Stratford upon Avon that weekend guitar shopping and I've told my lass we're just gonna go out for Sunday dinner and skip the match - booked for a 2pm start to coincide with kick off.

I don't want to drag her to a pub for it and then be in a huff if we get beat, so I'm just gonna have a nice lunch and then either watch MOTD ten times or never watch it ever.

A lot of his tunes were written by Paddy Macaloon of Prefab Sprout... the second most famous son of Langley Park :)

I'm employing the 'expect fuck all and you won't be disappointed' approach to this one. 2-0 to them.

Revised it based on the kit. 3-0 to them

If our away form is a concern why change the kit to an away one if you don't need to? (If it's contractual with Adidas then say we'll wear it i later on in the season instead when hopefully the away form picks up).

The whole kit rules are bollocks anyway. I'm fairly certain the rule years ago was that the GK had to have a kit that didn't clash with anything else on the pitch. Did you see Pope's shirt, and that of the referee last Saturday? Almost identical.
