Sunshine fanny

Talking of King EH's Bay, its moonlight fanny as well nowadays. This was taken at 7.40 today, and it was just as busy 2 hours later. When did hordes of kids hanging out on the beach become a thing? All getting pissed up. It's getting horribly busy and rowdy nowadays, as soon as the kids leave school, I'm buying something in the countryside.

I am a bit. Just a very noticeable change in recent years. Whenever the weather is nice, the place is mobbed. Shouting, fighting, vandalism, litter, fires, police presence required 7 days a week. Was a stabbing last year. Just a cultural thing since the pandemic but aye, quite irritating for old farts like me with kids who can't sleep. No objection to surf culture but add in charvers and not so much.

charvers

There’s your answer.

Take any, random, harmless activity and add fucking skip rats to it and it becomes a blight on society.

Little cunts

Speaking of charvers. Just been out with the dog at Weetslade and there's a bin next to a bunch of picnic tables. Mess all around the bin - it's not even full - and a couple of disposable barbecues lying next to the bin, empty cans, Asda bags, etc.

Fucking tramps in the sunshine.

Aye. I find the national pride lot take the least pride in their nation. Zero respect for anyone else who enters their sphere. I know Renton gets stick for being a grumpy old man but it’s no coincidence you get the sort of behaviour he’s on about in places the charvas can easily access. You can’t even use the metro through the day on a weekday without encountering pissed / whatever charvas just generally being cunts if it’s a warm sunny day.

I get the general sentiment but haven’t people always been cunts when the suns out?

The only thing that has changed is we have gotten older.

Aye. Fair point. It’s certainly not a post-Covid thing

The daughters and their mates have sometimes went down to the coast with their mates when it's been nice weather for an evening on the beach. They probably had a little drink, they lit some small fire for the anniversary of their friends death by suicide, they all work. None of them live at the coast though so should probably have went somewhere rough just like we all do if we want a break or go on a holiday. We live in a society full of cunts and people who probably ok but not bright enough to not be hoodwinked by the likes of Farage. The young are the ones being shafted by and large and the thick ones now will be the thick ones in middle age. It's just what this country is, haves, have nots, thick cunts, reasonably intelligent people and a media and social media poisoning the well in an ever more opaque way.

Fair enough, I agree. I honestly don't resent kids having a good time on the beach. I know the pubs are too expensive. It's just the shear volume and the fact it's every night, not just weekends, and the inevitable antisocial side effects. It's definitely a new thing as well, since covid. I blame Sam Fender.

It would do my head in if they were right on my doorstep and unfortunately you get the scotes with the decent kids so I do see your exasperation if they're a pain in the arse.

I'm working on dividing all TT posters into the categories of haves, have nots, thick cunts and reasonably intelligent people. I'll publish results later, but pot 3 is looking overweight atm.
