I'm So Glad - Cream at the Royal Albert Hall '05

Clapton sounds so laid back it makes you sick and you'd never guess Ginger Baker is about 70. Jack Bruce 'aint half bad either.

Whilst writing this, track moved to Spoonful - Clapton and Bruce are both class on this.

Alison Moyet - Hometime

Always forget what a cracking voice she has/had.

What was the her band in the 80s again, Yazoo?

Yep.

Where did he disappear to?

You taking the piss? If not, ask Gemmill.

Actually Martin, no I wasn't but was early when i posted the question and I've been working long hours and I couldn't even remember Vince Clarke's name and fucking hell that's just stoopid on my behalf.

Did Erasure form before or after yazoo split?

He's been on a constant downhill his whole career if you think about it really.

Disappointed. I thought it might have been a sideways swipe at the porky ginger one.

Afterwards I think, anyway. Andy Bell was his next "project", if you will. Lord only knows what Moyet must have done to the poor man...

Radiohead - In Rainbows.

6/10 on first listen but i can tell its going to grow on me.

Its mainly guitar based and half the songs sound happy and the other half aren't suicide inducing, which is a bold move for Radiohead.

Most of the vocals are stewed in reverb against a background of dry instruments which strangely sounds cool. Of course you get your weird noises too, lots of strings too.

Shame the guitar never truly rocks out though.

Worth the £2.50 none the less...

I'm liking it on the first listen, much easier to listen to than Kid A (which I love).
