I never knew the Hives even had a greatest hits album.

Tenacious D is a cracking film, there's just so many bits.

The bit with the Clockwork Orange droogs is genius plus the over all stupidity of the word 'Fuckaluckadingdong' to express suprise is inspired. :icon_lol:

"Your New Favourite Band is a collection by The Hives, featuring tracks from their first two albums and the A.K.A. I-D-I-O-T EP. The decision to release such a compilation after only two albums was made with the intention of achieving mainstream success in the UK and the U.S."

Joe Bonamassa - Live at Shepherds Bush

Possibly one of the best blues guitarists ever and definitely one of the best young guitarists, amazing live show too. He's playing the sage in November.

I've head this name mentioned a few times on the board and after watching the videos on his site I'm keen to hear more. Given that he's released 6/7 albums, can you tell me where to start?

Id probably say 'You & Me'. It's probably his most bluesy album and the guitar playing is more accessible.

A New Day Yesterday and Blues Deluxe are brilliant albums but i think you have to try a palette of his stuff.

Sloe gin is a pretty good album and it's kind of a strange 'rock blues' instead of 'blues rock'.
