i think isak will play. joelinton, possibly not. but even if they're both out, we should have more than enough. everton are missing three of their first choice back four. we have tonali and bruno pulling the strings and a solid defence - i don't think everton are rapid up enough front to trouble them - plus we have players like barnes and murphy in great form. and we have the crowd, and it's a bank holiday weekend, and the club are giving out two free beers inside the ground. everything points to a fast start and a home win.

i used to be captain pissy pants when it came to newcastle because we always used to choke but you change your view based on the evidence in front of you. we are winners now. i can't see this group bottling it and if we turn up with the right mindset and no one does anything stupid, we beat everton convincingly.
