I declare this draw null and void tbh. This is like the FA having Brooking and Bob Wilson lined up to do the FA Cup draw, and Ray Stubbs deciding he'll do it early to save them the bother.

Stop your fucking whinging Blondie, if you'd have ended up with Spain you'd have been all for it

FFS. Some spare countries left in my sweep stake so paid £3 on top of what I paid for fucking Algeria. Got fucking Honduras. :icon_lol:

£6 wasted, not sure if I should keep going until I get a decent team - Italy, Portugal, Argentina still left. If I got one of these they have to come third to break even.

Sorted two sweepstakes at work, I'm not in til Friday night, so won't know who I've got until then.

One's a standard team one, the other is a pretty straightforward top goal scorer one. £2 bid for which ever Striker you like, winner gets a fair share of the pot. So if all 40 people pick Torres, they'll just get their stake back, but if one person risks his bid on Crouch, he'll get the full £78 (plus his stake back). Whaddya reckon?

Bit complicated and not even a sweepstake. Plus, you might as well bet on Torres or Villa or whoever and probably get better odds. Why not just have the favourites to be top scorer (plus an A. N. Other just in case someone you've never heard of sticks 5 past NZ) in a proper sweep? You doylum.

I've set up one of these for charidee at work, to overcome the 'fuck I've got Honduras' factor we are also doing guess the total number of goals scored as a side pot.

FFS, I went for it and now have Greece. Algeria, Honduras, and now cunting Greece. :icon_lol:

However, as people at my work obviously are not into footy and/or are members of the temperance movement, there are still three left. The organizer won't tell me what they are, but perhaps I can still recoup something here.
