You guys obviously see a lot more of him (eg the full game rather than a stream/tv) than me but perversely that could sometimes be detrimental because you can fixate yourself with the weaker points of someones game. And you could do that with almost every player in the world. I mean, you could have a go at CRonaldo for lazy. In fact, the Real Madrid fans used to boo Fat Ronaldo as well when he had a poor season or 2. Im not comparing their football abilities before someone starts !

I'd love Dogleash to get the job. I bet the Scousers dont get all the messiah/saviour bollocks the press spout though.

I bashed him cos i think he's a liability......and a brown nose. He'd go flying off up the pitch looking to score goals and leave us woefully exposed at the back.....then point at some space and have a pop at other defenders when his positional play is his worst attribute....he's all about the last gasp lunge, never nipping things in the bud before they happen. Then he'd hang around following the final whistle, milking applause and making sure to be the last man off the pitch EVERY week. To be fair, Carroll seems to have knocked a bit of sense into him though....on both scores. Haha. The brown nosing does not bother me too much like people on here. He had the opportunity to storm up the field a few times yesterday but let the midfielders take the ball. I dont suppose you were that bothered about Albert doing that? Anyway, surely its down to the manager to decide so you cant really blame him that much. It seems more personal than ability.

The should just look at ditching it or maybe just have a straight knock out rather than this league bollocks. -

Europa league is shit anyway. Very little interest in the games and you wont get a glamour tie until the semis/final. -
Is it cruciate again? Same knee? Thats horrible news. Looks(ed) a decent prospect.

Don't even try that shit tonight. Fuck off you soft lad I think most fans can start to see some of Pardews influence coming through and thats nothing against Chris, just a fact. Go ahead then, how have you seen Pardew's influence? For one, I don't think Hughton would've put Ferguson on. Correct, only a tactical genius would have put a young, promising player on when the match is already well won. Fuck off. I'm basing this on the fact that in our 6-0 against Villa and 5-1 against Sunderland, Hughton didn't put on any of the young players on the bench (maybe Ranger). But no Vuckic, Kadar, or Ferguson. Usually just Smith. Vuckic was on the bench v Villa if I remember correctly. Im also going to go out on a limb here and say it was pretty hard for Hughton to know the result before the games started.

Caulkin just tweetted. Pardew: No bid then.

Bit harsh on a 19 year old. Especially when he played a lot of the game on his own up front. He does seem to lack finishing ability though - which I hope he can sort out soon. A loan would be a good a move. we need him to play far better than that though. someone needs to tell him he's playing in the premier league. and that the jobs not done until the final whistle. having said that against liverpool he was the difference between the 2 sides. a bit more consistency and a couple of goals by the end of the season and he should be ok. The job was done though in this case.

Best made a premier league appearance last week. He also played 7 years ago for Southampton. I think you can work out the point the commentator was making on your own so I'll not spell it out for you. It was the co-commentator (Barry Horne I think) who was trying to suggest Leon Best was on the path to greatness by likening him to Shearer and Malcom MacDonald. I doubt that will ever happen.
