You must be Wacky junior, first time I saw Howey when on a visit home I said he would play for England one day. He showed class and impressed me that much. The fact he was born in Blunderland doesn't necessarily make him a Mackem, there are people born in Newcastle who are "Mackems" But you are right about his consistancy though, he never really reached the full potential he had shown as a young lad. Have to agree with that. He was a crap CF...but an awesome CB. Injures ruined his career ala Robbie Elliott. Im a BIG Taylo fan but Howey was great. Use their entire defence but we have ony let in 4 less in the league ?? Taylor is better than both Distin and Dunne IMO. Ball is dung, although he does beat any of our no hopers!

Are you sure its your router and not the ISP? the speed/signal to your wireless router hasnt got anything to do with the ISP. i would recommend a firmware upgrade on your wireless card and the Netgear. What model is the Netgear? i'll track it down for you.

Wouldnt bother pissing Harper off. He has sat patiently for years. Give him a few games. No harm. Krul can go out on loan next season and gain some valuable experience. Some of you are getting carried away with Krul. Fair enough he made some great saves but his kicking was shocking and I dont think he looked confident to come for crosses in his ** 1 ** match.

Kruls kicking was shocking against Palermo tbh.

Isegrim bashing Emre again. He was the best player for us in the first half, dropping back to collect the ball from the defenders before bringing it out and spreading the play about, the only missed pass from him that I remember was a pass to Owen that he played first time and went out for a throw. He also worked his bollocks off closing down in the first half while Dyer and Sibierski stood around like statues. Reading came into it more in the second half but it wasn't until Emre went off that it went completely tits up, without him dropping back and collecting the ball we were left with Bramble hoofing it up field time and time again. Totally agree with the Emre opinions.

Looking at the bigger picture...Dyer, Martins and Shola all missed sitters. If they go in then people on here would have been saying it was a "great performance". Im with Happy Face on this one. We played some slick stuff in the first half imo.
