You could argue he tried everything to get them going. I think I mentioned it but only Bruno and Burn played a full 90 in the same (outfield) position. Thats pretty mental. It was just a shit day at the office all around. Im not sure anything could have got them playing on Sunday.

It depends on the opposition. For example, id be tempted to play Wissa over Woltemade in some games (especially away). Id also play Trippier im some games. It's a squad game these days though, isn't it? Burn, Schar, Thiaw and Botman are all quality CBs. Id have now qualms in swapping them around for specific games.

Oh. 100% Hall and Tino over Burn at LB. I’m pretty sure Howe will push BDB to CB.

Burn has been pretty awesome at CB since he moved there. He also has good qualities that we probably don’t see (great leadership and organisation). Botman will eventually takeover (if he stays fit and in form) but I’ve got no qualms with Burn over Sven at the moment.

I normally go and have a poke around an opponents forum the day before a game. TheFish is always posting on these. I think these are most likely his "colleagues".

Arsenal pretty much have 2+ quality players for each position. They are really strong this year.

Tino and Barnes linked up well when Balding was out last season. I still think Trippier deserves to be in the team but he can’t play too much so having top quality backup is essential.

Sounds like she is indeed going after the normals if she is having to explain her decision three weeks before the actual budget.

I think he is a class act but we are going to have to work out how to stretch the pitch when plays (especially away). Teams can push us down the pitch as he doesn’t offer anything in behind. The wingers should be doing this (eg like Bayern play) but it’s not happening away.

Will we get a reaction after that shocking showing? Probably. We might not get the result though.

He did the same last season as well. I think I was livid with him after Fulham away where he looked half arsed.

I don’t think it’s even worth commentating on individual performances today but so far this season Big Joe has been off it. Gordon has been shite in the league. And enough has been said about Franz Carr-Elanga already.
