He's a great predictor... I remember before Euro 2004: "England should drop Rooney because of his clear lack of experience at this level" He has recently said: " Arsenal will not win the Champions League this season." Bet Arsenal fans are delighted!

"I wonder if some Newcastle fans who were so happy to get rid of me still mention me everyday?" HE'S GONE! LET'S MOVE ON!

The woman presenting the show fainted half way through! Strange show....

Considering the baby was 2 weeks early, I'm not sure he'd have made it back anyway if it all happened in a hurry! And you could have started the thread if you'd have been here when the match started this morning 104707 Soopafan tbh. 104710 Skiving at work tbh.

I feel sorry for the guy who won a competition on Ladbrokes.com for a free £1000 bet on the match tonight... He put £1000 on Barcelona to win.

Just seen it again.... Inside the box no doubt. Unlucky.

... well for a young girl anyway. From nufc.com Old boy joins the bill: Bovva boyo? From the BBC, Tuesday: Soccer star Craig Bellamy has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault on a young woman in a Cardiff city centre nightclub. The Wales and Blackburn Rovers striker, 26, was released on bail after being questioned about an incident at the Number 10 club in February. He is due to report back to police after further inquiries. A South Wales police spokesman said: "We are investigating the alleged assault of a 19-year-old woman. "A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries." The alleged victim complained of suffering bruising to her arm and neck

From football365 Ashley Cole's solicitor has demanded to know why Google are linking his client with the word 'gay' in their internet search results. If you type 'Ashley Cole' into Google, the service brings up the option 'See results for: Ashley Cole gay.' It is not known whether the high volume of searches for 'Ashley Cole gay' is the explanation or whether there has been an editorial decision to suggest the word 'gay' when someone searches for 'Ashley Cole'. Cole has brought a libel action against the News of the World and The Sun over stories about allegedly bisexual but unnamed Premiership players. Although he was not named in the stories, Cole's solicitor Graham Shear will claim that juxtaposition of stories about his client sparked internet rumours that Cole was one of the footballers involved. Shear has now asked Google to explain this anomaly with their search engine, telling Pink News: "I am keen to find out whether the decision to automatically include the term ‘gay’ to the keyword ‘Ashley Cole’ was an editorial decision or one made by a computer based on the volume of searches for ‘Ashley Cole’ linked to the word ‘gay’. "I would be interested in when and what prompted this and whether the process started since we launched the cases against the News of the World and The Sun or before." It has also emerged that Choice FM DJ Ian Thompson, known as Masterstepz, is suing the News of the World and The Sun for defamation. Although he was not named in the stories, solicitors will claim that a pixellated picture of Thompson and Cole was used to illustrate the article. Meanwhile; the Daily Mail claims that Cole has been ruled out of action for the next six weeks, putting his participation in the World Cup in serious doubt.

Well done! Best of luck.... and if ya ever need to fine a student for not buying a ticket for the trip from Preston to Durham then don't bother ok! 103612 Seeing as I'd be working on commision in terms of how many fines/tickets I issue I can safely say you'd be fucked! Unless, obviously you happened to be a sweet lass with a penchant for sex in train toilet cubicles! 103616 We have ourselves a deal my friend!

Ah, Costa Del Consett on a Saturday night... Can't beat it man!

What's he doing tomorrow? Nothing? Get him booked in!! 103538 That smiley makes me laugh every time I see it. I would probably take Roeder over everyone other than O'Neill or a top European coach. I'd prefer him to any of Shepherd's famed shortlist. 103541 Someone (WubbleUC?) posted in Thompson's thread about lost strings, something to the effect of "Where's me strings ". Now every time I mention 'me strings' to anyone I get an image of that smiley in my head and start pissing myself laughing, which makes me look a little odd... 103552 Please change you ava... The sight of that man makes me wanna.............
-
Agreed, we should have got rid of Aaron Hughes years ago. 103545 Aye, that cocky bastard should have never been to wear a black and white shirt tbh.
-
I agree that Roeder has done a great job since he's come in and think that the bloke shold be given a seriously long term academy contract... But Souness did go unbeaten in his first 9 games when he arrived... I just think a change has done the players well. It is a nice breath of fresh air at the club now... every since the real "cancer" at this club has gone...
-
