You don't need a Segway to induce that.

Had your eyes shut when Webber and Kubica were on the screen then did you? apart from everyone hitting the wall at that bend it was a pretty comatose race IMHO Your opinion rarely matters. You make no exception here.

I'm never going to think of 'Tickle me Elmo' in the same way again...

Fuck it, I am then too... am waiting for someone to suggest we're being insensitive though.

Can only see the standard of haircuts getting worse under Miliband Ed tbh. A sobering thought. Pity they've clamped down on [hairdressing] expenses tbh. They've surely allocated her plenty of expenses for parking damage, no? It might not be politically correct but wouldn't it be more cost effective to allocate female MPs' with disabled bays? They're trying to implement a scheme at work whereby everyone reverse parks because 1. They consider it safer and 2. They think it's more aesthetically pleasing.... God only knows how much they're putting aside to repair all the company cars that'll get damaged as a result.

I'm not laughing but I can't help seeing the irony in this.... Wasn't this the scooter thing that Hammond was racing around the Top Gear studio last series?

Awful when things get to this point RIP

Must say reading some of the responses on the BBC (political version of 606 I'm guessing) is fucking hilarious. There's one bloke on there suggesting that David Miliband should turn his back on front-line politics in an act of defiance towards Ed who he claims has been 'utterly devious' I guess some people think politics IS about the person and not the party or policies. If David does walk away then it'll only serve to prove the unions were right in backing Ed. I'm amazed some are livid at the thought that Ed dared to run against his brother. It's not like the chance to run for leader comes around every couple of years - he may not get another chance. Lets not forget it's been 16 years since the last contest.
-
Not only have Labour just lost power, they have just elected a leader who the majority of the electorate find weird. Wilderness years beckon. IIRC David Davis was strongly expected to win the Tory leadership vote - much more than that young whippersnapper Cameron who nobody knew anything about and were a bit wary of.

Alonso looking majestic. Hamilton the one buckling under pressure IYAM. Awesome drives from both Webber and Kubica. Button is consolidating and being consistent. Certainly not been given the arse-wiping by Lewis that many predicted pre-season.

Old Tom is available in Asda (or certainly does around my way) comes in 330ml bottles for a very good reason! The old fella lives in Cumbria and is a bigger ale fan than me so I'm sure I'll be able to persuade him to show me these delights..

rubbish. We were only a couple of players short of having a team that could have qualified for europe again, which is why Keegan left. I suppose you know better than Keegan then ? I'm not saying I'd be a better manager than Keegan, but I probably knew more about what it would take to qualify for europe at that time than a man who admitted he hadn't watched a match in two years mate. Words fail me IIRC you stated recently that you didn't know much about NUFC pre-Keegan, correct? It certainly figures...
-
That Marston's Double Drop looks very tempting.. TS - I know damned well what you mean. I've done 3 bottles of Old Tom this evening and that stuff is 8.5%!
-
All 3 of those are regular favourites with me TS
-
I've got larupsed many a time on that fine drop I'll have you know... Can stick this one in the same category. Use it regularly in beef casserole but end up having to buy 2 bottles for obvious reasons.

Effectively a pint of mix? They do it in my Dad's local but they litterally fill half the glass with bitter and top it up with mild. Budvar is bloody lovely mind
-
Aye it does, I thought you meant literally drink from the bottle for some reason and were opposed to transfering it to a glass first. Nah bollocks to that - it was in reference to storage rather than drinking vessel. Canned beer is 'spoiled' by the tin IMO.
-
I have a Spitfire and Hobgoblin in the cupboard waiting for me . Waggledance is on the to do list too. Duvel comes in bottles doesn't it?
-
From an NUFC perspective I'd agree with you. But this idiot is talking about the result weakening the Premier League as a whole which is lunacy.
-
tbf they confiscate them for lack of tax, insurance or MOT these days. Admittedly they tend to do that on the highway, not off the driveway.
-
Recently got bored always buying the same beer when I went to the shops I decided to take the local supermarkets up on their 3 for £4 offers and get a different three each time. Now I'm not talking about canned beer - tastes fucking awful IMO. Beer, and by that I mean bitters, ales, porters and decent lagers should be served in a bottle. Best I've tried so far is this little beauty and it's definitely recommended - particularly if you like a stronger ale. This stuff is good but it's like drinking port - your whole chest cavity warms up as it goes down: Anyone got any other recommendations?
-
Pass. But someone who obviously thinks we should have a 6-team premier league! Fucking hell, you could make a more ridiculous statement if you tried. The fact that West Brom can be competitive at Arsenal strengthens the quality of the league. European competition has fuck all to do with the EPL.

Bit early to start on the sherbets isn't it?
