  1. The last couple of series have been shite imo.
  2. We may as well go home now. What the fuck was Collocini doing?
  3. Taylor shot cleared off the line.
  4. Unless she made the tea at Freshfields then I can't really see her and Wise being on the same intellectual plane.
  5. Kinnear still reckons it's been four years since he got that ban.
  6. I see Benitez is up to his usual tricks, Keane scores his first goal for the club and then gets dropped for the next game, way to build up his confidence there Rafa.
  7. I've foolishly backed us in an accumulator, no doubt it'll be the only result to let me down.
  8. Well some poor fucker on Amazon has just paid 80 quid for them, I only get £66 quid for them but still money well spent on my behalf.
  9. Where has Keegan been in 'surprise talks with the United owner'? The sub-line has fuck all to do with reality.
  10. Why did you feel it necessary to make this your first NUFC-related post in over a month? To be contrary? Why not just address the issues he raises rather than speculate on his motives? Is the second option easier? At this point on a Sunday morning? Yes. Next question?

  12. Tbh I think you're understating the reaction to the Taylor and Keane incidents. I'm not sure about Taylor. Wenger reacted angrily after the incident but I don't think there was much more in it. Certainly none of this paper crusading. Youre forgetting that while it was a bad challenge from Taylor it wasn't intentional, Guthrie took a kick at Fagan. Even at that I don't think there has been an overreaction to the incident, the FA didn't even charge him with anything when they would have been well within their rights to do so.

  14. Never heard of the bloke but that's a plus point for starters. Not really. Harry Redknapp was at West Ham when they had one of the best academy's in the country so I think he knows a thing or two about youth set ups and if he wasn't impressed with this Clifford bloke then I don't see it as a plus. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2005/no...ory.southampton Tbf Redknapp wouldn't have supported anything to do with Woodward so I wouldn't put too much faith in his assessment.
  15. Is 'developing the club organically' fancy talk for 'we're not gonna put much money into transfers'?
  16. They're two different South Africans, they're not 'all the same' y'know.
  17. Ashley said in a statement his family had received threats. Ashley said he had been advised that he and his family should not attend games for their own safety, however the police have denied issuing any such advice so chances are he was talking complete bollocks, so I can see why you're such a fan of him.
  18. Who threatened Ashley or his family? Mods, can you not send Danny B on another 2 week holiday?
  19. IMO he should just be focussing on what happens on the pitch. He is clearly media illiterate. Part of creating the siege mentality perhaps?
  20. My guess is that he was being led on by Wise & Co. telling him that they were working on his deals and promising to sign his targets before the end of the transfer window but it was only towards the very end that Keegan realised that this was definitely not the case.
